What they care about

Parenting is hard. But it's traumatizing when I look in my kids eyes knowing that homelessness is right around the corner, AGAIN!! Please help save our family

Carlos is getting a bit stronger. He hasn't had Dialysis in over 4 days. His Dialysis center is closed for water repairs. He is urinating 32oz around 3 times a day. On Friday evening while Carlos was in Dialysis our two sons were arguing and our 15 year old self harmed himself. That was the scariest moment of my life. My husband gets sick and can't work. We have no money for bills. Rent and electricity is due. Our car just broke down. And I think those sensors brought our son to hurt himself. My whole heart is broken. Please PRAY for my family. Donate if you can, if you can not help financially we understand. Please share this post. Keep my son in your prays please.
So today is what should’ve been the 10th day of dialysis but Veo didn’t come and pick Carlos up yesterday for dialysis nor did they call us so being that Veo through this state of Arizona Department of economic security did not come and pick up my husband yesterday his feet are so swollen. His legs are so swollen. It feels like we’re going backwards instead of forward. He’s at dialysis right now. I hope when he comes back tonight, his swelling has gone down. I’m not sure if anybody else has dealt with dialysis before but it’s such a hard thing to control. My husband wants to be strong. He wants to feel like a man and he’s just not feeling that way right now. Rent is due. My phone just got shut off. My car doesn’t work. That’s why I wasn’t able to take him to dialysis yesterday. My car broke down sucks right now my power got shut off the other day, thank God for payment arrangements just know all donations. Go to help our family out in so many different ways. I just lost my job right before this happened and I’m telling you I have never felt so alone while standing in a room full of people not sure if you guys have ever dealt with something like this before, but knowing that I have zero money coming in my husband can’t work. I’m looking for work. We have an appointment for disability at the end of this month just know any in all donations that you do make go straight to our family otherwise, I’m gonna have to figure out somewhere that I could go stay at for a while and my husband could go stay with his family. And that would break our family up. We just got over homelessness and now we’re facing it again so just know that all your donations go to pay rent. Thank you. You be blessed.
Today is Wednesday Sept 23rd and it marks the 9th day at the hospital and he seems to be getting better. He still is fighting an infection in his body. And is still on antibiotics. They are now testing him for C-Diff. This is the 2nd C-diff in the past few days. Yesterday was his 4th day of dialysis and he did good, His 1st day of dialysis he went for 2.5 hours and he was extracted 1 liter, 2nd day was for 2.5 hours, day 3 he went for 2.5 hours and day 4 for 3 hours and extracted 3 liters. He was able to produce some urine today Which is GREAT!!! PT is moving along slowly, but it's moving. And he is moving. Everything will be okay because we have God on our team. And the Lord Jesus Christ on our side. Thank you to those have donated, shared and prayed. All the grace and glory belongs to the lord. I ask in the Lords name if you are able to donate to our GoFundMe, even if it's a dollar. It's the thought that counts. Not the amount. Once again, if you're able to donated, please know it is appreciated and the lord see's you. If you are unable to donated please share my GoFundMe on your social media page. And then please say a prayer for our family. We need it!! Love you all- Mandy
Hi y'all my name is Mandy (46) and Carlos Melendez (48) is my husband, We've been married for 15 years and we have 2 boys, Frankie- 15 and Carlos-13. We're from Phoenix AZ and my husband is a die hard Cardinals fan. Rain or shine. Wins or Losses. He's still a AZ Cardinals fan!! We have 6 1/2 grand kiddos. We have a very large, very tight family. From ALL sides. EVERYBODY knows my husband Carlos. If you personally know my husband you know what a great guy he is. He has hundreds of friends and no ememnies. He is very loved. True story, We went to Disneyland one year and he knew someone there that lives in phoenix. Crazy!! 7 days ago on 9/15/2026 I found my husband unresponsive in the bathroom. He was passed out for about 4/5 hours in the same position. His kidneys let out toxins that took over his legs and feet. It took over his liver and he has a swollen colon. He was passing straight blood from his colon for days. That has seemed to cease. Now its just mucus. He is still in full renal failure. He has received 3 days of Dialysis. He had to spend 5 days in ICU. They had to call a RAPID (basically a step above a code blue) TWICE!! He is still in Liver failure. He just had a catheter line port from his neck now put into his chest and is finishing up his 4th session of Dialysis right now. He's has been able to walk some. A few steps at a time. We're not sure what the future has in store for him. We've been taking it one day at a time and we're just pushing forward. I am emotionally drained. I'm sad, my boys are sad. I'm asking for prayers for stength, please? I just lost my job and we we're trying to recover from that. And now my husband is in the hospital until further notice. That means we have 0 Zero money coming in. This is the hardest thing we've ever been through. I keep the faith and spend as much time with my husband as I can. I am asking for donations that will go for rent, utilities and groceries. I have begged for and borrowed from everyone I know. We are desperate. Without assistance we won't be able to pay rent. I have applied to many programs and have received some help from my church. Our SRP bill is due and is about to be turned off. And, I just spent the very last dollar I had to my name on cat food. So, unless I receive help we will be homeless soon. So, that's just another hardship to add to my list. I'm so sad. I feel so alone. I'm usually a very private person but I'm reaching out to you right now. I NEED HELP. PLEASE!! If you have read my post at least his far, thank you for caring. If you're able to donate, thank you for donating. If you're able to say a prayer, thank you for your prayer. If you're able to share my post, please do and thank you. If you're able to donate to Cash app my name is $twomoreears Anything and everything is appreciated. Even a dollar matters. If you can not donate please share this go-fund-me on your social media pages please. Without your share this page can not receive donations. Thank you!! I
I want to thank everybody for your support and your prayers to help my family through this really hard time. Unfortunately we are all one paycheck away from homelessness and that’s where we see ourselves today.. right now we’re taking life one day at a time and remembering who is the most important one of all and that’s the Lord. What’s the Lord and through the Lord will be able to get through anything and with your guys’s donations we would be able to pay our rent and our Internet. My son goes to online school, so Internet is very very important here. My car just broke down so we’re in the midst of trying to get that fixed. Feels like when it rains it pours. But will be able to get through this troubling time with the Lord.
I am creating this fundraiser for my family as we walk through a very difficult season. We are facing a crisis after job loss, and it has placed a heavy strain on our home and daily life. Asking for help is not easy for me, but right now we truly need support to get through this challenging time and keep our household stable while we work to move forward. The support from this fundraiser will help us cover our most urgent essentials, including rent, electricity, Internet, and groceries. These are the basic needs that will help my family stay safe, connected, and cared for while we navigate this hardship. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference for us and help relieve some of the stress we are carrying. If you feel led to support us, we would be deeply grateful. Even if you are not able to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers would mean so much. As it says in Scripture, “Each of you should give what you have in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” - Corinthians II 9:7. Thank you for standing with my family during this time.
