Every day, cats on Oʻahu are struggling to survive with little to no help. Some are abandoned pets, others were born outside, but all of them deserve compassion. Recently, I found a sweet cat at a local cemetery with a large, painful open wound. She was incredibly hungry, but too frightened to let me safely catch her for medical treatment. It was heartbreaking to walk away knowing she needed help. Unfortunately, she isn’t the only one. For the past year, I have spent countless hours feeding, monitoring, and advocating for community cats across Oʻahu. I’ve paid for food, veterinary care, medications, and supplies largely out of my own pocket whenever I could. While I’ve been able to help many cats, the need is far greater than what one person can financially manage.
I am raising funds to provide emergency veterinary care for injured and sick cats, humane traps and carriers for safe rescues, spay and neuter (TNR) to prevent more kittens from being born into suffering, flea treatment, deworming, and basic medical care, as well as food and clean water for managed colonies. Recovery supplies are also needed for cats healing after surgery or illness. Every dollar will go directly toward helping these cats. I will post updates, photos, and receipts whenever possible so donors can see exactly how their contributions are making a difference. My long-term dream is even bigger—I hope to develop smarter tools that can help identify and rescue injured cats before their conditions become life-threatening, making rescue efforts faster and more effective.
If you’re unable to donate, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, and animal lovers. Together, we can give these forgotten cats a chance to live healthy, safe lives. Thank you for caring.
