<div>Adam Mahamat was an incredible young boy—kind, hardworking, and full of hope. He spent over 10 years in a refugee camp, waiting for the chance to come to the United States and build a better future for him and his family. A dream of becoming a doctor one day so he could help others and especially help his Mother and his eight siblings. With such a promising future his life was taken far too soon, when he was stuck by an SUV crossing the street to Kearns Jr. High. We would love and appreciate everyone to remember him not just from this tragedy, but for his strength, love for everyone, and ambition that defined him. He is more than a victim—he is a son, a brother, a friend, a dreamer, and a light in our lives.

<div>Hi, my name is Amonie and my family, and I are fundraising for our Father/Son/ Brother /Cousin/Uncle/Friend, Jamal Parker. Jamal is a 28-year-old, father who is currently diagnosed with Stage 4, Small cell carcinoma in the esophagus. Jamal enjoys spending his time helping and being present for family and friends. Jamal’s passion is being an amazing father to his 6-year-old son and incredible uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He is caring, compassionate, and loved by many. Jamal is also a real estate investor who sees the values and significance in the smallest things.

<div>Jamal’s journey started on March 1st, 2022, where he was diagnosed with Stage 3, Small cell carcinoma. With intense chemotherapy treatment he was able to beat his rare form of cancer, on October 25th, 2022. However, that success was short lived when the cancer came back stronger on January 26th, 2023, moving to his liver which caused it to be Stage 4. He also developed cyst on his brain which causes unbearable migraines. We recently received news that his current chemo treatment was unsuccessful. Jamal will soon start a new chemo treatment, which will be his last attempt of beating this.

<p><strong>Hello everyone! We are putting this together for the Fonohema family. Makeisha &amp; Tony have a three month old babygirl, Irie. Last night Irie had a traumatic injury to the right eye and after getting emergency surgery done at Primary Children’s Hospital, the outcome is considered the “worst case scenario.” Babygirl will most likely not regain eyesite back to the right eye and will need much more treatment. The power or prayer has been fulfilling but medical expenses are going to be a downfall, considering money is tight right now. Knowing there is going to be much more treatment and expenses, we are asking for a generous donation to lift the weight of bills off their shoulders, at this heartbreaking time. He was only five minutes away from his home when he was accidentally struck by an SUV. <br />Marcus is survived by his 9 year old daughter and 4 year old son. <br />Any donations and support would greatly help his family cover costs for his memorial service during this time of need, especially so close to the holidays.

As some of you may be aware, my nephew, Justin Green passed away this Friday night.  Justin had been struggling for over a year with an eating disorder.  Justin was in several treatment centers during the past year trying to learn how to cope with it.  Because eating disorders for men are not common, knowledge on how to deal with Justin's specific needs was limited.  Justin fought as hard as he could and won many daily, and hourly battles, but unfortunately the physical and mental drain on his body and spirit caused him to take his own life.  <br /><br />If you know my sister and Justin's mom April, you know she and her family are the salt of the earth.  She loves her family and her boys.  She and her husband and Justin's father all work hard to provide for their family, but as you know funeral expenses are costly.  We would ask if you are not dealing with financial struggles of your own, and want to help out with the cost of the funeral, and medical bills she and her family would be forever grateful.  <br /><br />Loss of life at such a young age is so painful and tragic.  We will miss you Justin, our "Brown Eyed Boy"
