I’m Alyson, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself because I have been unemployed since the end of April and am having a very hard time finding a job. I am a single Mother, but I never imagined I would be in a position where I would need to ask for this kind of help, but right now I am doing everything I can to make it through an incredibly difficult season. Being out of work has left me feeling overwhelmed, helpless, and scared about how I’m going to keep up with basic living expenses while I continue searching for employment. The support from this fundraiser would help me cover the essentials I need to survive and stay stable, including rent, my internet bill, phone bill, power and water bill, natural gas bill, groceries, gas, household paper products, and toiletries. These are the everyday necessities that keep a household running, and right now they are becoming harder and harder for me to manage on my own. I would be extremely grateful for any help, no matter the amount. I have never been in such a low, helpless place, and as much as I hate to ask for help, I have to in order to survive.
