Krystal is my best friend and has been a constant in my life for over 25 years—we actually met back in high school. As long as I’ve known her, she’s always been there for her friends, myself included, offering support and kindness without ever expecting anything in return. She’s the kind of person who would give a stranger her last dollar, never hesitating to help those in need. But now, she’s facing some of the toughest times of her life. Since losing her car and job back in December, things have only gotten harder. She’s now at risk of eviction, and with her son’s birthday and graduation coming up, the emotional and financial stress is overwhelming. Despite her generous spirit, Krystal has never been comfortable asking for help. That’s why I’m stepping in—because if I could support her on my own, I absolutely would. But right now, she needs a community to rally around her. The funds raised here will help her find a safe place for herself and her son, or at the very least, give her a chance to get back on her feet.
