<div>Hello, everyone. I’m Casey York and I live in the U.S.. I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my close friend, Alaa, as she is in Gaza and unable to create one for herself because GoFundMe does not support direct withdrawals to Gaza.

<div>All donations will be collected here in the U.S., then transferred directly to Alaa’s bank account when set amounts have been reached. This way we can avoid multiple transfer fees and the family receives as much of the donations as possible. I will send 100% of the donations through legal and safe channels to get this aid directly to the family via PayPal. Alaa and I will keep this page updated with receipts, updates, and photos (where safe and appropriate) to ensure full transparency. <div>My name is Alaa Al-Farra. I am 22 years old and a fourth-year medical student from Gaza. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a doctor — a dream I was working hard to achieve. But due to the ongoing war, I’ve been forced to put my education on hold and devote my time to helping the injured and displaced in my community.

<div>I come from a large family of 13 — nine sisters, two younger brothers, and my parents. Our home was destroyed during the war, and we now live in a tent.
