<div>Keegan lives with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, scoliosis, and several other serious conditions. Every day is a challenge, but through it all, Natasha is right there beside him, caring for him full time and making sure he never feels alone.

<div>Right now, even the basics are hard.

<div>Their van, the one they depend on to get to medical appointments and simply get out of the house, is falling apart. It is rusted, unsafe, and held together with duct tape.

<div>But Keegan loves getting out.

<div>Going for drives is one of the few things that brings him joy.

<div>And Natasha refuses to take that away from him.

<div>On top of everything, Natasha is also dealing with serious health issues of her own. She lives in constant pain, but like so many parents, she puts her child first and keeps going no matter what.

<div>Ich heiße Rupert, bin 44 Jahre alt und gelernter Kraftfahrzeugmechanikermeister. Das auf dem Bild, das ist meine kleine Ein-Mann-Werkstatt und der gruselige Mann auf der rechten Seite, - das bin ich.

<div>Nun... Ich würde nicht um Unterstützung bitten, wenn es nicht unbedingt nötig wäre. Die letzten Jahre waren hart für mich und meine Arbeit. Es sind viele Dinge passiert, die mir (und meiner Familie gleichermaßen) immer mehr die Luft nahmen.

<div>Die Corona-Zeit bedeutete einen großen Ausfall an Aufträgen, doch durch Verkleinerung der Firma konnte ich es noch einigermaßen kompensieren und machte weiter. Anfang des Jahres '24 starben beide meiner Eltern in kurzen Abständen nacheinander.

<div>Meine Mutter im Februar im Alter von 73 Jahren und mein Vater im Mai mit 76 Jahren.
</div>

<div>Diese Werkstatt ist das Vermächtnis meines Vaters und eine der letzten freien Werkstätten in einem Wohngebiet. Es würde mir und vielen meiner lieben Nachbarn das Herz brechen, müsste ich irgendwann für immer schließen.

</div>
<div>Allerdings hat mir mein Vater nicht nur die Werkstatt überlassen, sondern auch all die Verfehlungen und Folgen, die diese mit sich bringen. Darunter auch knapp 40.000 Euro Schulden, die ich leider alleine kaum abstottern kann.

<div>Dieser Schuldenberg, die Steuern, die Instandhaltung der Werkstatt und ständig neue Überraschungen, die das Finanzamt für uns bereithält, fressen mich langsam auf. Haare hab ich schon keine mehr auf dem Kopf, wie ihr sehen könnt.

<div>Ich werde, sofern es die Zeit erlaubt, gerne ein paar Videos machen, in denen ich näher auf alle Umstände eingehe. Es gibt viel zu erzählen, Freunde.
