Update (feb 19th): Hi friends ❤️ I want to share why I need your help to keep my bakery open. Every moment in this bakery has meant so much to me, and your support can make a big difference. Watch my story here https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU8pG6siXzM/?igsh=bnpuYWt3dmsxczd1 Thank you for being part of this journey! and remember, a kind word can change someone’s day! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hi, my name is Adriana, and I never thought I would be here asking for help, but here I am, and this isn’t my first time reaching out…. I previously asked a food influencer for help and that ended up in a short video on social media that unexpectedly went viral, that moment reminded me how powerful kindness and community support can be! You can watch it here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUMPoAEjmXE/?igsh=aXhjNXFsOXY5MnE4 In case you’re wondering, this is my story: Two years ago, I moved to Texas to start over. While learning about my new home, I discovered something beautiful: Texans and Venezuelans share a similar comfort food. Texans call them kolaches; Venezuelans call them cachitos. Different names, same idea, warm dough, savory fillings, and food that feels like home. That connection inspired me to open CachitoHaus, a small bakery built with love, long hours, and everything I had. I believed that sharing this food could bring cultures together and create something meaningful in my new home. Today, I am struggling to keep CachitoHaus open. Rising costs and slow months have made it difficult to cover rent, and I’ve reached a point where I need help. Asking for support is not easy for me, but I am doing everything I can to keep going. Your support would mean more than I can put into words. Every contribution will go directly toward rent, a necessary water heater repair, and basic operating expenses, allowing me to keep CachitoHaus open. I am not giving up. I show up every day. I bake from scratch. I continue to believe in what I am building. CachitoHaus is more than a business, it represents resilience, culture, and the courage to start over in a new country. I know I’m not alone. Many small business owners are struggling, and asking for help doesn’t come easily. But sometimes, community is what keeps a dream alive when everything feels uncertain. If you’ve ever walked into a place that felt like home, if food has ever brought you comfort or reminded you of where you come from, I hope you’ll consider supporting CachitoHaus. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for spreading kindness. You never know how much it can mean to someone. — Adriana ❤️
