Hello friends, I'm looking to start a children's baseball team in South End, Saint John, New Brunswick! With the recent surge in popularity of the Toronto Blue Jays after the 2025 World Series, the name "South End Blue Jays" has been chosen. At this point, all we have is a name. The video is AI generated. The Children are not real. The uniforms are not real. At this time, there isn't a team, children or uniforms or equipment. Nothing. I'm looking to Raise $5,000 to set-up a team. We will try to join the Saint John Little League. If it's too complicated and troublesome, then we'll just do our own thing for kids who don't have a spot at SJLL. I don't know the exact age group, but based on my experience as a summer councilor with B&G Club, I think age 6-7 and 8-9 is best. This team will be considered "non-competitive level", meaning, having fun and meeting friends is more important than winning and being a top athlete. If baseball is too dangerous or difficult, then we'll switch to Soccer-Baseball and maybe start a league for that instead. 100% of funds go to this project. No admin. No payroll. Ever. Baseball has a low cost to entry. South End has over 50% child poverty. The money will be prioritized for basic equipment: Gloves, balls, bats, shoes, bases. Uniforms will be great, but one step at a time. Volunteers are always welcomed. Need coaches, trainers, special guests. Don't worry about time commitments, we're in this together. Hello Karman, My name is Adam Salesse and I am the Grand Master of the International Institute of Karmanism. Eventually, we will have Leaders and Branches in every Country. The fundamental philosophy of Karmanism is a belief in Karma, both Good Karma and Bad Karma. This is not a Religion. It is a Lifestyle. It is compatible with All Religions. Followers are called Karmans, regardless of gender, as "man" is short for 'Human". The goal is to spread Good Karma to Create Heaven on Earth. We Protect, Preserve and Promote: Human Life and All Creations. Honesty, Trust and Loyalty are core concepts along with Transparency and Accountability. Doing a Good Deed for the sole or main purpose of seeking recognition nullifies and wastes the Good Karma. Operating in total secrecy would be ideal, but, unfortunately that makes it almost impossible to grow our reach and impact. Therefore, Good Deeds will be shared on a future website and social media pages, for the main purpose of Transparency and Accountability, as well to encourage more people to get in involved. The goal, to start, is $15,000 and that would be focused on helping Greater Saint John. We have tons of hurting going on right now and we need to fix problems here first before expanding across New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada. I also want to do big projects in Saint John (Build a Homeless Shelter for example) as well as make sure People and Pets are not dying because of money. If everyone helps each other out and Good Deeds spread like wildfire, then we can actually achieve our fundamental goal of Creating Heaven on Earth, here and now. There will never be any payroll. An example of a project that I did with my own funds is: I replaced the damaged/missing mesh on the basketball nets at Rainbow Park with awesome metal mesh that made the "swoosh" sound every time a basket was made. I also zip tied a ball bag to the fence and resupplied it with $10 basketballs every Sunday. I kept 2-3 balls in the bag. Kids loved it! I could hear the basketballs being dribbled from my living room window. I would drive by broad street and be insta-happy seeing kids and their parents too shooting the hoops. I will always have those memories. I also bought soccer balls and drove around to various playgrounds in the city and I would just kick them into the parks. Many balls were returned and reused. If a ball went "missing" that was ok, because I chose to believe that they were being used somewhere else amongst friends. Public Basketball Courts are great, but if the children don't have a basketball, the court is useless. God Bless and Merry Christmas!
