<div>On January 8th, the Eaton Canyon Fire took our home, leaving my family and me with only the essentials we could grab. We’re now seeking support to rebuild our lives—funds for housing, clothing, and basic necessities. Anything you can give, big or small, means the world to us during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Support Hawthorne Foster Family Displaced by Canyon Fire

<div>Hello, I have set up this GoFundMe because being an organiser is only available in certain countries and Palestine is not one of them. GoFundMe had a problem accepting my ID which is why I had to add a beneficiary, when they get the funds they send them to me all together and then I send them to Amr as and when he asks for them. I spoke to Amr while making the campaign, here is what he wants people to know.

<div>"I am Amr Hatem. I live in the shadow of an increasingly devastating conflict in Gaza, with increasingly bloody conflict, economic, social and psychological instability, and with limited resources and basic requirements. A real tragedy befell me and my family as a result of the explosions and repeated displacement from one place to another in search of safety, but the truth is that there is no safe place in Gaza, even though they claim that there are some safe places, and the bombing is still continuing and threatening our lives. This leads to psychological illnesses and mental health traumas, and the situation here is unbearable. No one could bear what we faced, and we could no longer survive. This is in addition to my sister who suffers from heart health problems and needs expensive treatment and needs a pacemaker. I must not forget that I am a student in public high school and I want to leave with my family of 7 members so that I can complete my studies"
