Calcifer, our sweet baby boy cat, is facing a life-threatening medical emergency. At just three years old, he suddenly developed a blocked urethra, which is fatal within 48 hours if left untreated. We were devastated to learn that he needs to be sedated, hospitalized, and closely monitored for at least 36 hours to save his life. The urgency and seriousness of his condition have left us scrambling to get him the care he needs as quickly as possible. The funds raised will go directly toward Calcifer’s emergency care, including the exam, diagnostic panels, catheter placement, urinalysis, sedation, x-rays, fluids, medicine, and his hospital stay. Every step of this process is critical to ensuring he survives and recovers fully. We want nothing more than to see Calcifer healthy and back home with us, enjoying the long, happy life he deserves.
