Growing up in New Jersey, my family didn’t have much. I was raised by my grandma, who taught me the value of hard work and gratitude. We would go 'junking' together—searching for treasures on bulk pickup days and selling what we found at the flea market. Those moments with her shaped who I am and gave me a passion for finding value in what others throw away. They also taught me to be grateful for what I have and to always look for ways to help others. Now, I want to turn that passion into a business that serves my community. I recently bought a used truck from an older lady, hoping it would be the start of my junk removal business. Unfortunately, after spending all my savings on repairs, I found out the engine needs a full rebuild. Without this truck, I can’t launch my business or help my community the way I want to. Fixing it will allow me to haul away unwanted items, keep things out of landfills, and deliver furniture and essentials to families who need them most. I plan to offer monthly donation raffles for families in need and support autism awareness, inspired by my oldest child. I’ll also provide discounts for service members and first responders, because giving back is at the heart of what I do. I’m asking for your support to help me fix my truck and bring my dream to life.
