My name is Sabrin, and I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time for my family. My husband lost his job two months ago, and despite searching every day, he has not been able to find new work yet. I am unable to work because I am caring for our baby girl, who is only four months old. With no income coming in, we have used up all of our savings and are struggling to pay for the most basic needs for our children. Right now, our biggest worry is keeping our home warm and safe. The gas bill is overdue, and I am afraid of losing heat in our apartment, especially with a newborn who needs to stay warm and healthy. We are also behind on our rent, and I worry every day about how we will keep a roof over our heads. It is very hard to ask for help, but I know that my children’s safety and well-being must come first.
