<div>Hello, my name is Abdul Basit, and I am asking for your help after a journey that has changed my life.

<div>In 2018, I broke my left femur in an accident.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What should have been treated with emergency surgery became years of suffering because my family simply could not afford the operation. I spent years receiving traditional treatment while watching my friends continue with their lives. During that time, I lived with constant pain and the uncertainty of not knowing if I would ever walk normally again.

</div>
<div>Our family's financial situation became even more difficult. My father became seriously ill with cancer and later passed away. My mother sold many of our belongings just to keep our family going and to help me search for treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Eventually, after years of waiting and with help from kind people, I was finally able to undergo surgery. I believed that operation was the beginning of a new life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For a while, I held onto hope that I would finally recover.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But my journey was not over.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2024, I sought another orthopedic opinion because I was still struggling. I was told that my fracture had not healed properly and that I would likely need another operation involving bone grafting. Unfortunately, I could not afford the cost.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Later, I returned to the hospital where my original surgery had been performed. I was told that my bone had healed and that removing the metal nail and screws would allow the bone to continue healing naturally as the screw holes filled in with new bone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Trusting that advice, I agreed to have the hardware removed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I truly believed that my next update would be a video of me walking again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead, I am still on crutches.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I cannot walk without support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I cannot bear my full weight on my left leg because the fracture site becomes painful and feels unstable. Every attempt reminds me of how my leg felt before I ever had surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I recently underwent new imaging because I knew something was wrong. I am now requesting copies of my medical records and seeking further orthopedic evaluation to understand exactly what treatment I need next.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is not to blame anyone or make accusations.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My goal is to find a path forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want the opportunity to receive the treatment that gives me the best chance of walking again and rebuilding my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This journey has taken years of my youth.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It has taken my education, my independence, my ability to work, and many opportunities most people take for granted.
</div>

</div>
<div>Despite everything, I have not given up.
</div>

<div>I still believe I can walk again.
</div>

</div>
<div>That is why I am asking for your help once more.
