Charles Levi

Team Levi updates: Levi's Cardiac team ordered a left side heart catheterization to measure pressure in his left ventricle, assess his aorta and aortic valve. This procedure is an outpatient procedure done at the Heart and Vascular Center. Levi will need to rest for a few days following this procedure. The procedure has been moved up to August 24. He continues to follow his care plan to prevent a serious Ischemic Stroke caused by Vascular Dementia and is closely monitored by his entire care team. While at the hospital recently, an ECG was done and showed Atrial Fibrillation which is different from his Tachycardia. His Cardiac team prescribed a very LOW dose of antiarrhythmic medication. He now takes 19 prescriptions instead of 18, with 8 out of 19 not covered . These monthly costs are astronomical. Levi's medical team, 2 MSW's, 3 Personal Representatives, and 2 Ombudsmen, continue to advocate for Levi. He's having a lot of dizziness and balance issues from Central Vertigo. His Neuromuscular Specialist referred him to the Spine Center so they can determine through various exams including a cervical MRI if spinal stenosis may also be contributing to his dizziness.
