I was recently accepted into a faculty-led study abroad program through Morgan State University called Health, Family, and Community. This program will take place in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil from July 9 – August 1, 2026. Only ten students were selected for this opportunity, and I’m incredibly grateful to be one of them. As a junior Multi-Platform Production major and the current Miss Creators at Morgan State University, storytelling and community impact are at the center of everything I do. This experience will allow me to learn about health, family, and community systems in another culture while continuing to grow as a creator and storyteller. The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of the study abroad program, which includes travel, housing, and program fees for the month-long experience in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil through Morgan State University. Specifically, donations will help cover round-trip international airfare, housing accommodations, educational program fees and activities, local transportation, and cultural learning experiences. Every contribution will go directly toward helping me participate in this opportunity and represent Morgan State University abroad while gaining knowledge and cultural experiences that will impact my education and future Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser, truly makes a difference. Even small contributions help bring me closer to being able to travel to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil and take part in this life-changing experience.
