What they care about

As a widower Husband, Father of 5, and man of faith, giving and advocating for those who can't for themselves motivates me daily to strive and push for more.

On behalf of my dearly departed wife/best friend and my 5 children, our family greatly appreciates all the support and prayers that has been bestowed upon us. Shattered and grief stricken does not even begin to describe the pain we are feeling losing our rock, our anchor, my beautiful wife Reema. A senseless tragedy marred in neglect and pain being ignored after the birth of our 5th child. Reemas name will live on. Through the light and smiles of our children, through the ministry work we started in Dearest Father Ministries, and through the advocacy for women, with immense focus for those who don't have the support to be heard and upheld the way they should. As a man from humble beginnings, it was a struggle for me to ask for support. The current state of the world is tough enough for anyone to think of my family and to support the way the community has, and I do not take that for granted one bit. My sincere appreciation to all that have supported and continue to support, and to those who have sent prayers, goes out to each and every one of you. From the depths of my soul I commit to upholding the values my wife instilled not only in my children but in our family and community as a collective. I ask that even if you cannot give you first take time to pray for my family and if you can share the link to your church goups, communities, and villages, that would be greatly appreciated as raising my children on a single income will be challenging and I am humble enough to admit that. By the grace of God and the strength he provides when asked, I know I will make it happen. This is not the end, but the rebirth of Yahreema's story. If it's the last thing I do on this earth I will ensure her story is heard, felt, and lasting legislation/procedures will be put in place to ensure the next family never has to experience the sheer horror I experienced for 21 days by my wife's bedside.
