Hello everyone, I am reaching out to ask for a little help to keep my sweet girl, Samantha, healthy and thriving as she hits her milestone 10th birthday. Our story started a decade ago in a parking lot when I was just 16 years old. Samantha was only about 8 months old at the time, and she was absolutely terrified. She wouldn't even go near my mom, but out of nowhere, she crawled right over to me. In that exact moment, I looked at her and promised her that I would always protect her. We have been inseparable ever since, navigating life side-by-side for the last ten years. She is my absolute best friend. Samantha is doing well and isn't in any pain, but now that she is officially a senior dog, she is due for a thorough annual checkup. Because veterinary care in the U.S. has become completely unaffordable, I have decided the best and most responsible way to keep my promise to her is to travel with her to Mexico for her vet care. Going this route allows me to get her a full senior workup—including a thorough exam, senior blood panels, and any preventative care—at a fraction of the U.S. price. However, even with the lower costs in Mexico, I need to ensure I have the funds fully secured before we cross the border so I can immediately pay for her travel logistics and any treatment, dental care, or extra testing the vet recommends while we are there.
