<div>After nearly 11 years in business, Toad Style was forced to close on May 6th, 2026. The closure was immediate, indefinite and without notice due to a legal crisis with the building. We are asking for support to first and foremost help us pay our staff severance as they look for new jobs. Anything raised after that would help us recover losses from recent orders, bills and closing costs and anything after that can help protect us against the unknown and fund future projects. We are so grateful for any and all contributions!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Toad Style opened in 2015 with the sole intent of providing scratch made vegan food to our immediate neighborhood. Finding the space was the most critical part of our incredibly thrifty, arguably non-existent “business plan.” 93 Ralph was more than we had dreamed of. The landlord was a relatable individual, charmed by our enthusiasm, he helped set us up for success. The plan was always for us all to grow old together in this space and we all did our best to ensure our sustainability. Sadly, it ultimately became impossible to continue, due to unforeseen legal issues outside of our control.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the nearly 11 years we were open we not only grew into the people we are today, we got married, had a baby, survived a pandemic, lost loved ones, and met countless friends through staff and customers. We are so grateful for and proud of the time we had and the support we know we’ll bring with us in whatever we do moving forward.

Help Toad Style in their sudden closure

<div>My name is Wil Page, and I am a teacher at Thomas Starr King Environmental STEAM Magnet in Los Angeles. I'm creating this fundraiser for my cherished colleague and partner teacher, Rebecca Mitsuse, who lost nearly everything in the recent Eaton Fire that has devastated the Altadena community.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rebecca is an extraordinary sixth-grade English and Science teacher who has dedicated her career to educating and inspiring generations of Los Angeles students. As a passionate environmental advocate, she has not only taught our children about the importance of protecting our planet but has also empowered them to become active stewards of their environment.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On January 7, 2025, the Eaton Fire destroyed Rebecca's Altadena home on Maiden Lane, leaving her, her husband, and their high school junior with almost nothing. In mere hours, this devastating fire consumed their belongings, memories, and the sanctuary they called home. The impact of this loss is immeasurable, affecting not only their immediate living situation but also their ability to maintain normalcy in their daily lives, especially for their teenage child who is in a crucial year of high school.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rebecca has always been there for her students and colleagues, going above and beyond to support our school community. Now, it's our turn to support her and her family during this incredibly challenging time. Your donation, no matter the size, will help them:

</div>

<div>- Secure temporary housing while they navigate their next steps

</div>

<div>- Replace essential items like clothing, school supplies, and basic necessities

</div>

<div>- Begin the long process of rebuilding their lives

</div>

<div>- Support their child's educational needs during this critical academic year

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every contribution makes a difference, and your support will show Rebecca and her family that they are not alone in this difficult journey. Please share this campaign with your networks to help us reach our goal of $50,000 and provide meaningful assistance to this wonderful family who has given so much to our community.

</div>

</div>

<div>Thank you for your generosity and support.

Support of Mrs. Yamamoto & her family

<div>Randi Victoria Ingram passed suddenly on August 28, 2021 at the Neskantaga Nursing Station, Neskantaga, Ontario. She will be forever remembered as a devoted partner, and a loving mother.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Randi leaves behind her partner Norm and her seven children, who she called her 'lil loves'. Randi loved and cherished her children dearly. She held deep connections at Neskantaga First Nation. She is survived by, and will be dearly missed by her mother Judy Perrault, and her seven siblings, and numerous other relatives at Wasauksing First Nation. Randi is pre-deceased by her father Oliver Tabobandung Sr., her brother Nicholas, and her sister Tina-Lynn.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Randi was a fun-loving, hard working friend, community member, parent, and partner. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her lil loves: Damien Moonias (19), Swaydence Moonias (16), Markus Moonias (12), Paisley Moonias (9), Quinn Moonias (7), Addison Moonias (6), and Jayk Moonias (3).
</div>

<div>Ensuring her children had strong roots, knowing who they are, where they come from with strong family, and community connection was important to Randi. Her long standing connections to Neskantaga First Nation provided the solid foundation she and her partner wanted for her children.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Many people have reached out and asked how they can support this family during this difficult time.
</div>

<div>We set up this GoFundMe page to help alleviate some of the burden this incredible family has incurred and to ensure Randi's lil loves have what they need, and her partner is supported in his grief. We hope to continue to fund this family from the donations received so they will have some annual relief to draw on each year. Some of the funds from this year will go to day to day expenses, and a portion will go into a longer term fund that hopefully will grow with the children.
</div>

<div>
</div>

<div>Neskantaga is a remote fly-in Ojibwe community located 436 kilometers northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Randi and her partner worked hard to provide for her children in a community whose expenses are at least triple that of any southern community. The funds will go directly to the family to help with household costs and allow her partner time off with the kids to grieve and heal.
