Support Judy's Battle with Kidney Cancer

<div>Paulie Dipippo passed away suddenly yesterday just before Christmas. His mother Rosie is grief stricken after loosing her only child at only 41. She is a women of modest means and needs a helping hand for his final funeral preparations. Hi Everyone <br />   As many of you know my husband Cory was given some devastating news recently, after living healthy and never even being in a hospital before. He is a runner, a sighted guide to blind runners, an amazing hair stylist, an amazing husband and a great friend to so many.  Cory started having seizures out of nowhere in the middle of the night. After a crazy week or more in hospitals, tests, biopsy…We finally know that he has a brain tumor. Oligodendroglioma grade 2. <font color="#333333"><span> Primary central nervous system tumor. Next step is to test to see if a brain surgery will be able to be done to remove some of the tumor. Either way he will need 6 weeks of radiation followed by 48 weeks of chemo therapy. <br />     I recently had job change and Cory opened his own business, not the best timing, our health insurance isn’t amazing. Of course I had great insurance I never used for years, but isn’t that how it goes. Anyhow so many of you are asking how you can help. I never ask for money and to be honest it’s super awkward and uncomfortable, I’m usually the one lending out money to others. Obviously with Cory not able to work for sometime, money is necessary to pay the bills. I work two jobs at the moment and they are amazing and flexible with all we are going through. Anything you want and are comfortable contributing will go to our daily expenses, rent, food, Ubers to treatments, medicine, medical bills and all the other things that pile up with brain cancer. We are still learning and working on the treatment plan with his doctor.  I figured I should start this at the suggestion of so many of our friends,  to see if it can help take some of the stress away. I thank you for contributing if you can and if you aren’t able the prayers and love and positive vibes sent his way are also a great help!  We hope to keep the salon going and as Cory feels up to it he will want to take some clients and have some normalcy back but for now he is chilling and figuring out how to live with this. It is not curable for now, it can be managed and treated and is known to respond positively to treatment, so that is what we are hoping for. Also you have to have a $ goal listed and I have no clue what expenses we are in for so I just put $10,000 and raised it as we quickly hit the goal overnight? People are amazing, thank you so much! </span></font>

Suicide Prevention Golf Tournament

As most of you are aware by now, Matt Sabatino was stabbed in the chest Saturday night in downtown haverhill. He's currently fighting for his life with a heart and lung injury due to the stabbing in a SICU at a Boston hospital. <br />He is currently unstable in very critical condition as of now. The family is unsure of his prognosis and it is an intense situation minute to minute right now as the family waits for change in his status.<br />I'm a close family friend and have spoken to the family as well as been to the hospital and they are swept up in pain and completely devastated. They are praying for matts health and healing by his side during this time.  <br />With an event as tragic as this, Matt and his family will be faced with a lot of obsticles and financial worry. I set the go fund me up to help provide for immediate support in providing the close family a hotel room, a place to retreat within walking distance of the hospital during his mecially fragile moment and provide them with some comfort.<br />Also the additional funds raised will primarily be used for Matthew's direct medical needs primarily in whatever path that leads. It's too early to know where that will be but Matthew also has a fiancé and two young children that he supports that rely on him that will also be affected due to this horrible event.<br /><br><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/20739448_1496072342.2779_funddescription.jpg" class="not-resizeable" width="100%">

<p dir="ltr">Pauly needs a little help from his friends, and since he's one of our favorite people, we want to help organize that help. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">If you know Pauly, then you probably feel the same way, because you know the type of person he is. Pauly is kind, caring, and generous, almost to a fault. Pauly has opened his home to more people than we can count, he's cooked wonderful meals for us all, helped many of us move (often more than once), loaned us money, bailed us out of tough spots (sometimes literally), and he has hosted many unforgettable parties at his oasis by the sea.
</p>

<p dir="ltr">As many of you may also know, and for those of you that don't, Pauly has been dealing with pretty major back and neck pain for a number of years. This summer when it finally became&#160;too much to bear, Pauly went for an MRI, the results of which confirmed that he has two ruptured disks in his neck that are putting pressure on his spinal cord, &#160;requiring surgery in order to prevent further damage. &#160;His doctors have strongly suggested that surgery needs to happen sooner rather than later in order to avoid further damage, e.g. potential permanent damage to nerve function in his arms, and breathing difficulties.
</p>

<p dir="ltr">His neck is fixable; that's the good news. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Here's the rub. Surgery is going to come with at least 4-6 weeks of recovery, during which he won't be able to work. Pauly doesn't have any paid vacation/sick time through his employer, and being out of work is going to be financially exhausting. &#160;He's also going to need some minor environmental modifications within his home, such as a proper bed that will adjust to support his upper back and neck during recovery, as well as some modifications to the first floor so he doesn't have to deal with climbing the stairs to his bedroom and bathroom every day.&#160;
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Please consider helping Pauly during his recovery by making a donation. All funds will go directly to Pauly to cover his living expenses (rent, utilities, food, prescription and appointment co-pays, etc.) during his recovery so he can focus on healing. <br>

Save Pauly's Neck, Help Pauly Heal!

I am raising money for a very important person in my life my cousin Tammie Sargent. Tammie is the rock of our family she is one of the smartest and strongest women I know. I am asking everyone to please share this and help me raise money for my cousin she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which has caused her to stop working. I want her to just focus on fighting this cancer and not have to worry about anything else. Tammie's Fight against Cancer 

Hi! My name is Bobby Forster and I have ALS. There I said it...... For those of you who don't know what ALS is it’s a pretty crappy disease. It is a neurodegenerative disease that slowly takes away your ability to walk, talk, eat and even breath.<br /><br />How slowly? Not very.... 90% of people with ALS die of respiratory failure within 3-5 years of their diagnosis. <br /><br />For me this disease is a bummer. I am 25 years old and am in the prime of my life. I have an incredible girlfriend, an amazing family, and the best friends anyone could ever have. I have always been very active and knowing that I am going to lose the ability to do a lot of the things that I love is really sad. <br /><br />My friend and fellow ALS battler Steve Saling once said, "Until medicine proves otherwise, technology IS the cure". That is something I have really taken to heart. Since receiving my diagnosis I have become determined to take the technology further than anyone ever has before. I am currently working to develop exoskeleton prosthetics that can run off of a brain wave interface. I have been hard at work on this since my diagnosis and I intend to change the lives of thousands of others fighting this terrible disease. This is something that is within my skill set and I will make it a reality. Please help me get there!
