<div>Elevated Roller Derby’s excellent teammate and league president Gendy Nooch / Ty injured their ankle at practice on 2/5 and had to take an ambulance to the hospital! We are waiting on a prognosis, but they’re definitely expecting some emergency medical bills and will likely be unable to work while they are recovering. Please pitch in to take care of Ty, who has been so generous with their own commitments to roller derby! Every amount is helpful and appreciated.

<div>Hello my name is Jessie!
</div>
<div>I am 31 y/o, transgender woman living in Albuquerque New Mexico. I have been medically transitioning for 2.5 years and as the dysphoria increases, I have decided it is time for me to further my transition and start my gender affirming surgery journey. I am a full time caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities, and a part time drag entertainer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>i Am raising funds to help me be able to afford gender-affirming surgeries and all that goes with along with having surgery.
</div>

</div>
<div>I am extremely thankful for any and all donations!

Gender-affirming Surgery

<div>Hello everyone. As most of you know on 07/12/2023 I was involved in a vehicle accident where I was t-boned by someone who ran a red light while on my way to work. Although my vehicle is totaled I am thankful that I was able to walk away from that accident. I am bruised and broken but the pain is a reminder that I am still alive. Due to the accident, I was rushed to the hospital and received trauma care. I had to miss work and am having to miss more work for surgery I will be having to repair my hand. Unfortunately, when it comes to work I do not have much sick leave as I had to use it when I had COVID and although I’ve accumulated some leave I will not have enough to cover my wages for bills that are coming up at the beginning of this next month. The driver of the vehicle that hit me is insured but that claim will take some time to process as to why I am asking for help. I am not one to usually ask for handouts. I am usually the one helping fundraise for others but I thought I would try this as I am in need at this time. I appreciate any help. Thank you very very much ❤️

<div>Hello Beautiful People,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ken Vegas here, along with David Van Buzzo, Stafford and Rebekah Roberts, on behalf of Mo B. Dick, dear friend and beloved member of our drag king community. Mo is facing a daunting challenge. He has been diagnosed with rapid severe hip degeneration in BOTH HIPS, requiring immediate double hip replacement surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We all know Mo for the tireless constant support and inspiration he brings to our community. Mo has freely given the world Drag King History profiles for researchers, students, drag enthusiasts. Losing work, turning down gigs, the cost of medical equipment, combined with the associated recovery expenses are overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The drag king profession is physically demanding, and this surgery is crucial for Mo, not just to continue doing what he loves - entertaining us, being a pillar of strength, and serving our community, but it is also key for him to have a more pain free life. It's time for us to step up and show our support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to raise at least $8,500 to cover surgery and post-operation care for Mo. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mo B. Dick has always been there for us, now we can return the favor. Let's band together and support our fellow Drag King, so he can continue to inspire us with his courage, talent, and dedication.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for taking the time to read, donate, and share this campaign. Remember, we're not just a community, we're a family, and when one of us is in need, we stand together!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In hope, health and love,
</div>

Hip Hip Hooray

<div>Our family was devastated on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 when Dad (Tommy Cardwell) fell at home with a stroke. After calling 911 and being rushed to UNMH he was Medilifted to St Joseph's hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He has suffered 2 strokes, a heartattack, 3 blood clots, covid and a few minor set backs on this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sadly,  Dad passed away on December 10th, 2022. He received his dying wish and passed in New Mexico,  just inside Gallup.  Services have not been planned,  but will be updated here for those wanting/able to attend.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can help, a few dollars, will go a long way to ease some of the stress in a very difficult time for us all. Thank you everyone for your love and care!!

Cardwell Family Support

<div>Our friend, and brother Jon Baran departed on Friday November 19, 2021 following a year and a half long valiant battle with Chondrosarcoma, leaving behind his beautiful wife Caitie, daughter Sophie and his family/chosen family and friends. To say we are heartbroken is beyond an understatement.<span> </span>

</div>

<div><span><br /></span>

</div>

<div><span>Jon was the best kind of human you could ever hope to meet. His love of his work in film and television was only surpassed by his fierce love for his family and friends.</span>

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>Caitie and Sophie need our support now more than ever. Please help us continue to build a fund to provide some temporary financial stability as they begin the hardest journey forward. These funds will help them remain in their home, and assist with unplanned expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you all for your ongoing support through this time.

In Memory of Jon Baran

Lili has just had brain surgery. She has made it through the surgery successfully and is now resting and healing. We are looking for financial support to help with her medical bills, rehab gear, and lost wages. Her recovery from surgery will take some time. The last thing we want her to be worried about right now is money! Pitch in if you can. It all adds up! Thank you

On October 31st Mark was at work, and his chest started to hurt, and was having a hard time breathing, and also as he said he had a heavy work load.  So he chose to drive himself to Maple Grove North Memorial Hospital from work which was in Uptown.  When he arrived at the hospital they rushed him right in and did an EKG instantly, and found that he was indeed having a heart attack.  They then did a chest X-ray, and found a lot of problems with his lungs as well as the heart attack.  Then at that time they told him they would be transferring him by ambulance to North Memorial in robbinsdale once they were able to get him stabilized, and the ambulance would arrive.  Once he got to Robbinsdale they brought him right to the ICU and before they did the angioplasty they told him he most likely would not have heart surgery because it happens to 1 in 100. Once they did the angioplasty they found that he had 99% blockage in his back left artery and some blockage in to smaller artery’s.  At that time they had him in ICU flat and calm, because the surgeon had already done 3 open heart surgeries, and wanted to be fresh when he did Marks surgery Saturday morning, and if he were to have any chest pains they could lose him instantly.  They had him in surgery Saturday morning at 6:00am and did a triple bypass open heart surgery and also found some emphysema in his lungs which is why he they had him lay flat and on a ventilator for 24 hours while very heavy sedated.  At this time he also had a very irregular heartbeat.  Sunday afternoon they took the ventilator out and he woke up.  His irregular heart rate did not improve so they have kept him in the hospital until Sunday November 8.   <br /><br /> Mark will be out of work for at least 3 months if not longer, he just recently started a new job where he has not been there long enough to get any type of benefits.  This also means he does not have any type of income at the time.  So we are asking for donations to help the family out with everyday needs, bills, and medical appointments.
