Hi, I am Lou from Dr Loulittles Mutt Hut, a small dog rescue in the Staffordshire Moorlands Unfortunately one of our residents had an accident and has broken her leg. The vets that I use, Churnet Valley Vets in Cheddleton have xrayed her and found that the break is clean but not lined up properly and other than keeping her comfortable with pain killers and a good firm dressing they are unable to help her as she needs an operation from a specialist orthopaedic vet which is going to cost in excess of £2000 The only other options are 1) to remove her leg which as it is a front leg would seriously affect her quality of life as Frenchies carry most of their weight at the front due to how they are built and she would have serious mobility issues 2) to sadly have to have her put to sleep which doesn't bare thinking about as she is only 2yrs old Please donate as much as you can so that we don't have to make that decision and Miss Piggy can go on to have a long happy life ❤️
