I hate to say this but by midnight tonight, we will no longer be able to post stuff online on here or anywhere for quite awhile. We won’t be able to be contacted by phone either because we can’t afford to pay our cellphone provider. I just wanted to let those of you reading this know this because we just don’t have the monetary means to pay for our cellphone service and many other things that have gone unpaid for as well. Albert and I wish you all well. We’re still struggling financially and we’re still in the dark about why Albert has these fainting spells. The last syncopal episode he had, was sometime in early July and he wasn’t doing anything overly stressful. He had just finished eating dinner, chicken and rice I believe and he suddenly started to phase out from consciousness. He didn’t fully pass out as this was a short syncopal episode but still serious nonetheless. He didn’t fall or hit his head on the floor, he was sitting in a chair and I made sure that he didn’t land on the ground. It took him about several hours to get back to being aware of what day it was, the year, what we were last talking about etcétera. For this month of August, he didn’t have any syncopal episodes but I still worry about these events happening to him because this is what led up to Albert needing his heart operation back in May of 2013. I fear that he may need another heart operation, since he only had one aortic valve repaired. He should’ve had another valve fixed too but I guess the doctors back then, felt that he would be well with just the one, I don’t know for sure why he didn’t have the other one of his 3 valves repaired? As for his sleep apnea consultation and further testing, this appointment will be on September 14, 2026 at 1:45 pm with a pulmonologist, that is if we can afford to pay for it, I may have to cancel it? Albert also has his cardiologist appointment in November on the 19th at 3 pm but I don’t know whether or not we’ll get this done either? So many things have to get done and I’ve been doing my best on working on these tasks. I applied for Retirement and for disability for Albert, that was no easy feat to accomplish either but I did it! I still have to work on applying for SNAP and LIHEAP and it is harder and much more detail oriented when applying for both forms for assistance! Where people get the idea that those who come seeking American citizenship here, automatically receive free SNAP and other benefits is beyond what I’ve had to go through! On this subject, Albert and I can’t imagine why people are so full of hatred towards people looking to become American citizens!? This country was built with the blood sweat and tears of immigrants, save for the ones who were already here and then they were duped into becoming slaves and not given much credit for their huge part of building this country as well! This country has a long way to go from what it’s sadly been put through recently. We pray that some day people will wake up and stop being so overly entitled with why who comes here and what they do with their hard earned income. Well, anyway, this is just one of our prayers. On another subject, my Sister Janie who has been under our care and has been living with us since August of 2014, has had many challenges that she’s been facing too. She’s recently had a dental cleaning where they found that her upper right crown had many cracks, so she had a temporary fix done on 08/25/26, until I can bring her in again to the dentist on September 9th for her permanent crown repair. Janie also had a routine mammogram done on 08/28/26 but the technician didn’t follow through on comparing her x-ray film’s to the previous year’s x-ray’s, so now the technician is recommending to her doctor, that she have an ultrasound done. I’ll have to talk with Janie’s doctor on 08/31/26, to see about having their x-ray technician take a better view of this years results versus last years. It greatly annoys Albert and I, that doctors, x-ray tech’s and those who should know their job’s details, don’t do better by their patients, when they should at least try to do better. I also had to do the yearly payee report for my sister’s social security disability benefits, which have now become retirement benefits for her and yes, my sister earned her hard worked retirement and disability benefits, just incase anyone’s been wondering. As for myself, I’m extremely exhausted but I’m doing the best that I can for my husband, my sister and my cats. A lot of the time I feel like giving up on getting stuff done because of all of the difficulties that I face with Albert but I keep on trying, doing and keep on keeping on. I pray to God that we make it through this stressful and difficult time but I just don’t know how much more that we can take!? I guess we’ll just find out later in September, so until we can get back to normal this is a temporary goodbye for now. Take care of yourselves and God bless you all. PS, Albert’s lost about 15 pounds because we’re not able to buy as much food as we have been able to in the past. This is nothing we wanted to happen but when you’re broke, you can only buy what you can afford. Now he probably weights about 165 and the weight loss worries us both because this is what led up to Albert’s post epicardial pacing wire to break through his abdominal skin. I pray that something good comes through for us, his retirement benefits or his disability gets approved, for now we’re just coasting on the generous support that we’ve received from all of the good and caring individuals who’ve helped us through go fund me. We thank you all for the help that you’ve given to us 3 and for our cats too. ❤️

My family is facing an incredibly difficult time right now. My husband, Albert, has been experiencing serious medical emergencies, including episodes of syncope that have caused him to faint while working as a security guard. During his most recent episode, he crashed his company’s car, and as a result, he is unable to work. Albert is our only source of income, and without his paycheck, we are struggling to make ends meet. To make matters worse, we are having trouble paying for the EEG and heart monitor that his doctor says he urgently needs. I am unable to work myself due to two herniated disks in my lower back, which has made our situation even more challenging. On top of our medical and financial struggles, a tree recently fell on our detached garage, causing significant damage to the building and many of our belongings inside. While we do have homeowners insurance, our deductible is much more than we can afford. We have been without a steady paycheck since April 2, 2026, and we are now at risk of losing our utilities and not having enough to eat. Albert was born with an aortic stenosis and had an artificial heart valve placed in 2013, and now he is facing new and frightening symptoms, including a pacing wire protruding from his chest. We are desperate to get him the medical care he needs and to keep our family afloat during this crisis. The funds raised will help us pay for Albert’s essential medical tests and treatments, repair the damage to our garage, and cover our most urgent living expenses.
