- Support Joe Diaz — Community Advocate and Engineer of Happiness and Groove! Standing with someone who always stands up for others. Joe Diaz is the person you see whenever people are coming together to support those in need. He shows up for social advocacy and justice—whether it’s standing with marginalized communities, supporting the homeless, or helping a family in need. He’s helped with food drives, joined teams that keep people safe during protests, and used the roar of his motorcycle to shuttle food and water to those out there doing the hard work of speaking up and showing up. He doesn’t do it for applause or attention. He does it because he believes deeply in people, in fairness, and in showing up when it matters most. Recently, a critical piece of Joe’s equipment was destroyed—gear he relies on to do his work and maintain the flexibility to keep saying “yes” when his community needs him. This fundraiser is intended to help Joe replace that essential board and secure a reliable backup, so a single failure never becomes the reason he has to turn down work or step back from supporting others. The reality is that the worlds Joe moves through—both entertainment and advocacy—are demanding, competitive, and often under-resourced. The people who create the energy, connection, and care that others rely on frequently carry that responsibility without a financial cushion when something goes wrong. Supporting Joe through this moment is not about charity; it is about respect and recognition. It is a way of saying that the time, miles, and heart he has poured into his community are seen and valued. If Joe has ever handed you water on a hot day, helped keep you and others safe, encouraged you, or simply inspired you by the way he shows up, this is an opportunity to give something meaningful back. Your contribution helps remove an unnecessary source of stress and allows him to stay focused on what he does best: being present for others when it counts. If you’re able, please donate and share this with those who know Joe’s work and his character. Coming together for him now is a powerful way to honor the countless times he has quietly and consistently shown up for others!
