Dear [Donor's I come to you with a heavy heart, a deep sense of gratitude, and a plea for help. My journey through life has been one of struggle and survival. There was a time when I was just like the children I am trying to help today – an orphan. I was a child who had no home, no family to turn to, and no one to offer a kind word or a helping hand. The loneliness, the hunger, and the fear of uncertainty were constant companions. But by God’s grace and with the support of a few generous people, I was able to survive. I learned what it was like to go to bed hungry, to wonder where my next meal would come from, and to feel the deep sorrow of being without a family. Today, I stand before you, not as someone who is wealthy or well-established, but as someone who has been given a second chance at life. And it is because of that second chance that I now feel a deep sense of responsibility to give back. To help those who are still in the same desperate position I once was. In Monrovia, Liberia, there are countless children, widows, and prisoners who are in need of basic necessities like food, shelter, and love. Many of these children are orphans, just like I once was, and they face the same daily struggles I did—hunger, fear, and hopelessness. They live without the basic dignity that every child deserves, and they need our help now more than ever. Today, I am reaching out to you with a humble request. Whatever you can give, however small it may seem, will make a difference in their lives. A simple meal, a warm bowl of rice and stew, can bring a smile to their faces and help them face another day with hope.
