I am struggling to find a job, and I believe my dental issues are a big part of the challenge. My teeth are in need of repair, and it has made me very self-conscious. Because of this, I often hold myself back from opportunities and social situations. It’s been hard to feel confident, and I worry that my appearance is affecting my chances of employment.

 The funds raised will help me cover essential expenses like rent, food, and gas, but most importantly, they will go toward dental repairs. Getting my teeth fixed would mean I could smile again, speak comfortably, and feel more confident when applying for jobs. It’s a step toward rebuilding my life and finding steady work.

 I’ve found it incredibly difficult to deal with the impact of my teeth on my daily life. I don’t go out much, I rarely smile, and even speaking is tough. I really need a job, but I can’t get dentures without money, and I can’t get a job without dental repair. Your support would mean the world to me and help me break this cycle. <p>With Aaften still being unconscious. All of the funds raised will be going into a savings account in Jade Guerin and my name. When Aaften wakes up this account will be transferred into her name. This savings account will also earn interest so we will be raising more money for Aaften

<p>that way too. For those of you that don't know, both myself and Jade have been friends with Aaften for more than 20 years.
</p>
<p>Please know none of this money will be going to anyone besides Aaften. Like I've said multiple times, the last thing Aaften should worry about is finances when she wakes up.

<p>On August 9th at approximately 11:30 pm. In Sturgis, South Dakota, Aaften was walking out of a venue with a friend when she was struck from behind by a drunken biker. Aaften suffered a severe brain injury as a result of the impact. She is currently in ICU at Monument Healthcare Rapid City Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. We are starting this GoFundMe for Aaften's medical expenses. As she is currently on life support, nobody knows how long her recovery will be. Please help take the burden of having a huge medical bill off of her shoulders. Like I said she is fighting for her life right now. Anyone that knows Aaften knows that she is a fighter. Anything that you can donate will truly help during this difficult time. If you can't donate please share this. We will post updates as soon as we have them. Please say a prayer for Aaften.

<div>As many of you know, Jerry recently received a new kidney. He has had an awesome team of doctors and nurses, as well as the Sanford transplant team. They all have made this experience a little less scary. 
</div>
<div>Jerry’s transplant has been success, but now we begin the healing process. Jerry will need medications to keep his body from rejecting the new kidney. He also has to take time to recover. He will be out of work for at least 3 months. 
</div>
<div>Because he will not be working and along with all the medication he will need to take,  we are asking for help with medical expenses. 
</div>
