During this recent winter storm, my grandparents’ porch collapsed due to the severe weather. When it fell, it tragically injured their beloved dog. Despite doing everything they could, the injuries were too severe, and they were faced with the heartbreaking decision to put him down. This loss has been devastating. Their dog was a cherished part of their family, and the suddenness of it has left them heartbroken. On top of the emotional pain, they are now dealing with unexpected home repairs. While the entire porch did not collapse, the damage has made it unsafe and in need of repair to prevent further issues. My grandparents live on a fixed income, and covering repair costs along with vet expenses has been overwhelming. Funds raised will go toward: Repairing and securing the damaged portion of the porch Materials and labor needed to make it safe again Unexpected expenses caused by the storm Any amount helps more than you know.
