Stephanie Dillard reached out to me in a moment of deep need, hoping for support as she faces unimaginable challenges. On top of this, she is homeless and the sole provider for her five children, with no family willing to help and the children's father currently incarcerated. Despite these hardships, Stephanie continues to fight for her children and herself every single day. Stephanie’s life has been marked by resilience. Born as a preemie weighing only 10 ounces to a mother struggling with addiction, she entered foster care at a young age and has faced adversity ever since. She has always been proactive about her health, seeking every possible treatment, but she is now too sick to work and is still waiting for her disability to be approved. The weight of her situation is overwhelming, but her determination to care for her children remains unshaken. Right now, Stephanie urgently needs help with housing, food, and basic stability so that hospice care can step in and provide the support she desperately needs.
