Kayla is a former orchestra student of mine and a Light of the World Academy graduate. She has always been someone with a big heart, especially for children, and would be the first to step up if anyone needed help. Now, as she begins her journey into young adulthood and motherhood, she is facing an unimaginable challenge. Recently, Kayla was diagnosed with a metastatic sarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer that has already started to spread in her body. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down. She will not be able to work for the foreseeable future, making it impossible to keep up with daily expenses, let alone the mounting medical bills. As a new mom, Kayla is not only fighting for her own health but also for the future and well-being of her newborn daughter. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Kayla’s medical expenses, daily living costs such as rent, and the ongoing care of her daughter.
