My dad, a dedicated veteran, was in a serious car accident this morning on his way home from work. He fell asleep at the wheel, and the crash left him with injuries that required emergency surgery at Harborview. The doctors have told us that his recovery will be long and challenging, and our family is still coming to terms with everything that has happened. As he begins this difficult journey, we are doing everything we can to support him.
