Fatma is a rescuer based in Istanbul. She cares deeply for the cats around her and does not hesitate to help in urgent and complicated cases whenever a cat needs her. The Rescuer: “I have a deep love for all living beings, but animals are like my children. I want them to live well and happily. I adore them and long to see joy in their eyes, not sadness. I wish I could save every animal; I do my best to provide treatment to those who are sick and ensure they are fed regularly. Please don’t let me walk this path alone, as they are all our children.” Project website
Hello, I’m Selda. I rescue and provide medical care for stray cats in Istanbul, Turkey. Every day I come across animals struggling with hunger, illness, and injuries… and I can’t ignore them. Veterinary costs, surgeries, and medications are now too much for me to handle alone. Every small donation can help save a life If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means a lot. Together, we can save more lives Project Website
At Stray Cat Sanctuary, more than 70 cats and 3 dogs depend on daily food, care and medical support. Although previous fundraisers show a higher total amount raised, this does not mean that money is still available. The donations were used for ongoing food, veterinary care, medication, emergency treatments, transport and existing debts. Right now, we have still not been able to place a proper food order. The cats need regular food every day. Several sick and sensitive cats inside the sanctuary also depend on special food. The three dogs also need food, and basic supplies such as cat litter and pee pads are needed as well. Until now, we have often calculated with around €300 per week for food and basic supplies. But this is only an emergency minimum. In the long term, it is not enough for more than 70 cats and 3 dogs, especially when special food, litter, pee pads and rising prices are included. With this new fundraiser, we want to secure one month of food and essential supplies for the sanctuary animals. Goal: €1,500 for one month of food, special food and basic supplies. Please help us keep them fed and cared for.
The Rescuer: "Hello, I am Çiğdem, and I have dedicated myself to feeding innocent stray animals and being their voice. My top priorities are their nutrition and health care. Let me share my journey from the beginning: about two years ago, I opened this Instagram account after a stray cat named Viskas, whom I was searching for, was diagnosed with FIP disease. I took him in and did everything possible to help him recover over the course of three months. To this day, he is still with me, and I have also adopted another sick kitten named Sakız from the streets. As I witnessed the increasingly cruel living conditions of strays like Viskas, I felt compelled to keep this page active. Thanks to this platform and the support of all of you, we have fed hundreds of cats and dogs and treated and adopted dozens of strays. Currently, I am caring for over 60 cats in my area. My work is not limited to feeding; I also take cats with health problems to the veterinarian and provide medication for milder cases. With the ongoing economic crisis in Turkey, daily life has become more challenging, and unfortunately, I cannot cover all these expenses on my own. This is why these innocent souls need your help so much. Please believe me, every contribution counts. Feel free to contact me via direct message for any questions, information, or requests. For each donation, I will send you a payment receipt and add it to the highlights of my page. I would be incredibly grateful for your support on this meaningful journey. " Project Website
We created this new fundraiser to provide clear and transparent support for the animals currently fighting for their lives — and for those who depend on continuous care every single day. Right now, we are facing multiple critical cases: Curry Curry depends on life-saving medication every week: ➡️ approx. €200 per week His treatment is long-term and must continue under regular monitoring. Without this medication, he will not survive. Kahve (dog) Kahve is battling severe infections, including distemper and mycoplasma, and requires intensive, ongoing treatment: ➡️ approx. €281 every 10 days for essential medication ➡️ plus additional treatments, blood-related medication, vitamins, and supplements She is fighting to stay alive and cannot do so without this support. Köpük (Pamuk) (cat) Köpük urgently needs surgery to survive: ➡️ €1,189 still needed for surgery ➡️ plus €1,180–€1,370 for post-surgery hospitalization But beyond these emergencies, there is something many people don’t see: Every day, there are ongoing costs we cannot pause: • food for many rescued animals • transport to vets and clinics • medication and aftercare These animals don’t stop needing help when one case is resolved. The need is constant. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us continue. You are not just supporting one animal, you are helping us keep all of them alive. Project Website
