<div>Ayse is a rescuer in Kirklareli, Turkey.

<div>She feeds over 50 cats in her garden and takes care of them; she treats cats for kidney failure and panleukopenia, and a few for FIP. Her district has no municipal veterinarian, so she has to get all her cats neutered at a normal veterinary clinic.
</div>
<div>Ayse also provides for another 30 cats in the building complex where she has lived in Istanbul. The residents won`t feed them, so she sends food to the caretaker. 
</div>
<div>Ayse also tries to help an unemployed friend with around 20 cats in her area.
</div>
<div>She needs around 53 kg of food a week.

<div>Since March 2020, I have been caring for cats at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology in Istanbul; I provide treatment and neutering for them in that area. The university administration permitted me to look after the animals, yet the university does not have a budget for them.

<div>The expenses have been covered mostly by myself, sometimes by my close circle of friends and family and very little by international support:

<div>I have to buy food (normal cat food and special needs food) for the cats. Sometimes, I take them to the Üsküdar municipality clinic for treatment. Sometimes, taking them to private clinics is necessary since the municipality clinic is insufficient for the cats` needs.
</div>
<div>Approximately 70 cats are currently living on the campus.
</div>
<div>I showcase these areas on my Instagram account. I have neutered about 60% of them. I neutered most of them at the municipality, except those requiring gas anaesthesia. Cat-loving students helped me distribute food and take sick cats to the Veterinarian.

<div>I am currently trying to raise 7,500 TL (approx. 205€) for a cat (the cat has been at the clinic for 25 days) that needs urgent ear surgery, a CT scan and tests. Additionally, I have a young cat patient who has been using GS capsules for 10 days. Due to financial reasons, I cannot take in 2 adult cats on campus that need medical treatment.

<div>She cares for numerous cats and dogs in Istanbul and Isparta, Turkey with her mother and sister. In her home, she looks after 22 cats and one dog, while another 21 cats live in her garden. She is also taking care of a cat currently staying at a veterinary clinic, diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), as well as two blind cats in her house—one suffering from chronic bronchitis and herpes virus, the other from chronic sinusitis.
