Hi, my name is Stacy. Last night, my husband and I were working out in Whitefish and we ended up in a very bad wreck. The car is totaled and we have no vehicle to get us back and forth to work or anywhere for that matter. We need all the help we can get to get back on our feet. Please, please help us. Our neighbor’s family has always been hardworking and kind, but right now, they’re facing a crisis that no one should have to go through alone. The husband was recently laid off due to the winter schedule, and just as they were adjusting to that loss, the wife suffered a serious injury—she broke her back after a fall and had to stop working immediately. Their three children, who attend Bigfork Elementary, are doing their best to stay positive, but the family is struggling to keep up with basic needs. As their neighbor for over 7 years, I’ve seen firsthand how much they care for their family and community. My own family has been in a similar situation not long ago, so I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel. We’re helping as much as we can, but today their power was shut off, and their water is being turned off as well. Despite reaching out to local organizations and churches, they haven’t received the help they need yet. This fundraiser is to help them in every direction—rent, utilities, groceries, and anything else that will help them get back on their feet. Every little bit truly makes a difference.
