Hi Guys! After a lot of thoughts and discussion mixed in with about a billion & one anxiety driven thoughts I caved and made this! The mad goal is to actually buy the 100+ old former YMCA that I'm currently renting to be my shops forever home and the 100+ old school house (Buena Vista School) I currently live in. The short goal is to afford a building at all whether it’s these or having to downsize. That said I want to stay in Miami AZ as it’s been my home most of my life and I am truly dedicated to its existence. If I make enough money to purchase the buildings it’s only the beginning of the story because I have a plan to make them a useful part of the community in the long term but all of that will take help because the ROI on my small town isn’t the greatest but it will make things better! Currently my shop consists of a vintage shop/thrift store (Two Bored Ladies), a community ran food pantry, my local facebook community blog (Bunney News), and hopefully this year I’m adding a crafting section. I 1000000000% don’t want to move if I don’t have too! I’m also working on purchasing my lifelong art teacher’s home a former schoolhouse because if I can’t do more than one crazy thing I might as well add a second one for the extra stress and drama! Just know I’m out here trying to make my small town dreams a reality with a bad foot and audacity. I can’t promise that someone doesn’t buy the Y before we can raise the funds but I have a couple of smaller options available if I had too. The school house is my family’s current home but I’d love to pay it off to save for its repairs as well so while I could do 2 separate fundraisers they represent my life which is legitimately kind of ridiculous. So if you want to participate in my crazy plans I’d love to have you!!!
