Darevan "Darvey" De Koster

I’m currently living in a building that’s expected to be shut down due to safety and legal issues. Residents may be forced out with little notice, and I don’t have a stable place to go. I’ve been trying to stay afloat, but this situation is sudden and moving fast. I’m low-income and rely on state benefits, which limits my options. I recently got a small Peer Support internship (3 hours/week). I will be starting the internship mid May 2026 as the on-boarding process is a bit lengthy. I'm working with The Department of Rehabilitation, which helps the disabled with certification, schooling, and employment. I live with my West of England Tumbler pigeon, Paleontology. She is trained, calm, loving, quiet, and enjoys the presence of people. I’m trying to keep both of us safe and find a place we will both be welcome. Funds Will Go Toward: Temporary housing Deposit for a new place / Move-in costs Relocation costs Basic supplies Transport (I do not have a vehicle) Care for my pigeon, Paleontology Emergencies I do not have social media.
