Lance Snyder was my steady Eddie—my best friend, my confidant, and the man I loved and cherished. He stood by me through the hardest times, especially when I lost my mother in 2011. He always had my back, and I could count on him for anything. We were engaged, and he was truly everything to me. Before we found out about the cancer, Lance suffered four strokes, which is why he was in the nursing home to begin with. Then we learned he had stage four cancer. He made a promise to my mother that he would take care of me for as long as he lived, and he kept that promise until cancer took him from me. Now, I have his ashes and want to fulfill his final wish by bringing him to rest near the Golden Gate Bridge, just like my mother. I need help to make this happen. The funds will go toward gas to get to the boat, renting the boat itself, flowers, and a small celebration of Lance’s life with food for those who join me. Lance meant the world to me, and I want to honor him in the way he wanted. If you can imagine being in my position, I hope you’ll consider helping.
