First, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who has donated, reached out, prayed for me, and supported me throughout this journey. The outpouring of love, kindness, and generosity I have received has been far beyond anything I could have imagined, and I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.
I recently had a follow-up appointment with my transplant team and wanted to share some encouraging news. Just two days ago, I reached the three-month anniversary of my liver transplant, which is an important milestone in my recovery. As a result, my doctors have given me more freedom to resume many everyday activities. I am now able to spend more time out in public, begin driving again, increase my daily activity level, and enjoy visits with family and friends, provided everyone is healthy.
While I am grateful to share this positive progress, I also want to be honest about some of the challenges that remain. I continue to experience significant pain related to the surgery and have made several trips to the ER in recent months. So far, testing has not revealed any serious abnormalities that would explain the ongoing pain. My doctors and I are actively working to identify an effective treatment plan and pain management regimen to help improve my quality of life.
Despite this setback, I am continuing to make strong progress in my recovery, and I remain hopeful about the road ahead. Your support has carried me through some of the most difficult moments of this journey, and I cannot adequately express how much it has meant to me and my family. The kindness, prayers, messages, and generosity I have received have been a constant source of strength and encouragement.
As my recovery continues, there are still significant medical expenses and ongoing costs associated with treatment, medications, appointments, and managing the complications I am experiencing. If you are able and feel led to do so, any continued support, whether through a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you again for your generosity, encouragement, and unwavering support. I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. Your compassion has made an incredible difference in my life, and I am optimistic that with time, determination, and continued support, brighter days are ahead.
