<div>Here’s some news about my brother, Bodie Wagner.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On Tuesday, September 8, Bodie had heart bypass surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and replace a heart valve. The surgery was successful and he is now in the ICU. Jackson and Marty visit him every day and he is in good spirits although very tired for now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He’s been dealing with medical challenges that have curtailed his ability to work for several months, and he’s facing four to six months of recovery on top of that.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Those who know Bodie realize he’s been a hard worker all his life as a musician, a fine craftsman, and a contractor. He’s also been extraordinarily caring and generous in looking out for his community, near and far.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now he needs his community to help him in any way it can. I am hoping to generate help and goodwill for Bodie, and I am asking friends, fans, and family to do what they can to help him recover without worrying about the wolf at the door.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whatever you can give will be met with great appreciation. And please hold him in your thoughts and prayers on September 8.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With all my heart, thank you -
</div>

<div>PS, Bodie tried and failed to connect his bank account to this fundraiser before his surgery so it is now connected to my checking account and I will in turn send him checks and the funds come in.

Let's Help Bodie Wagner

<div>Friends,
</div>
<div>I'm in dire financial straits, largely as a consequence of some inherently bad decisions I've made over the course of the last two years. My back is against the wall, and now I'm humbly seeking your help in raising some emergency funds. I've never felt so humiliated in my life, but I'm trying to set things right and find a more viable and healthier way to live.
</div>
<div>God bless you.

</div>

<div>Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted strangers,

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are reaching out with heavy hearts on behalf of our dear neighbor and friend, Tracy, who has recently been diagnosed with glioblastoma—a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. This life-altering diagnosis has brought immense challenges to Tracy and her husband Gary, emotionally, physically, and financially.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Tracy &amp; Gary are cherished members of our community—known for always lending a helping hand, sharing a warm smile and being devoted neighbors. Now, in their time of need, we are rallying together to offer the support they so deeply deserve.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Medical treatments, travel to specialists, lost income, and everyday expenses have begun to pile up. We hope this fundraiser will ease some of the financial burden so Tracy &amp; Gary can focus on what matters most: healing, hope, and time together.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every donation—no matter the size—makes a difference. If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers, kind words, and shares of this campaign are equally powerful.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s show this incredible family the strength of a caring community. Thank you for standing with us.

</div>

<div><br />

<div>With gratitude,

<div>Early in the morning of August 19th Marty was taken to the ER for heart complications. He had three serious blockages. One blockage was 100% so a stent was put in immediately and doctors monitored him for two days before trying to stent the other two. At that time one more stent was placed successfully and the other blockage was addressed. During that procedure however Marty went into cardiac arrest. It took over 15 mins for them to regain his heart beat. He was then kept intubated and sedated for 9 days. Doctors were confused as to why an extremely healthy 45yr old would be presenting with these complications. Marty was then transferred from Miriam hospital to Rhode Island hospital. Once at Rhode Island Hospital it was discovered he had Cardiac Covid. As a result of his procedures and condition he lost a tremendous amount of blood. His hemoglobin levels dropped to a low of 4.2 and doctors worked at raising that life threatening level. During that time it was found he had a blood clot in his leg and lungs from the life saving procedures that were performed. While under sedation Marty showed his strong determination to understand his circumstances and fight for recovery. He communicated by shaking his head to yes or no questions and trying his best to use his strength and extremely limited mobility to make small gestures with his hands. After his intubation tube was removed and Marty was able to advocate for going home to continue his healing, he was discharged on 9/3. In total it was three hospitals, 16 days in CCU and ICCU - 9 of which he spent intubated and sedated. Marty’s recovery will be long and require determination, focus, strength and the continued support of his family and friends. Due to the trauma to his heart and lungs, and lack of full ability to use and feel his right leg and foot, he will require a lot of therapy and be out of work for an extended period of time. As a family, Marty and Kerri, along with all of us , have received so much support and outpourings of love. All of it has been appreciated and makes it possible to hold us together and to keep facing each days struggles. Thanks to everyone for the constant and loyal support, all the prayers and practical help. We will continue to share updates on Marty’s condition when possible.

<div>This is one of 2 GoFundMe fundraisers that is happening for the Kemmerer family. All proceeds are being deposited directly into the Kemmerer’s bank.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>John Kemmerer and his family have been woven into foundational fabric of our community for decades. For over 100 years, the Kemmerer's have worked their 100 acre farm, a bedrock of our agricultural heritage here in Stanford and the surrounding communities. Emily Hay, John's daughter, formed the Centennial Farm Foundation to help save other centennial farms, who had suffered through the hardships and challenges of farming these days. On July 18th, everything changed for the Kemmerer family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This past Thursday, a massive fire broke out and devastated their farm. They lost two barns, all of their trucks and tractors, equipment, and their office right in the middle of this farming season. We are aiming to raise $100,000 that will immediately go to John’s family in this time of need. It may take months to sort through all of the losses that the family has incurred, and they will need immediate aid to get them through this growing season.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now is the moment we can come together as a community and give back to this remarkable family. Please consider donating funds to help rebuild this incredible farm, donating goods that will go to a future auction (details forthcoming), or help us spread the work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together we can ease the burden of this terrible event for the Kemmerer’s.

Help Kemmerer Farm After the Devastating Fire

<div>Dear Friends,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Some of you may know that Aaron has Glomerulonephritis, or Alport Syndrome. This is a genetic disorder that causes inevitable kidney failure. Over time, his kidney function has fallen to the point where his kidneys do not work well enough to keep him alive. This is called end stage kidney failure. The good news is that two months ago, an old friend of the family, “Dave the Donor”, generously volunteered to go through the process of establishing if he could donate his kidney to Aaron and to our great relief he was found to be a match. He and Aaron are pursuing the procedure to take place at the end of this year.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovery from a transplant operation will take between three and six months. During this time, Aaron will be unable to work and will need assistance caring for himself. Recovery from a transplant surgery requires major life changes in order to keep him safe and healthy. While difficult, this is the best case scenario because his other option is dialysis, which is truthfully a stop-gap measure that would also prohibit Aaron from leading any kind of normal life. Thankfully, after a transplant surgery and the long path to recovery, Aaron’s life will be one free from debilitating medical procedures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of you know Aaron from either his work in hospitality or through his Aikido practice. Aaron is an extremely generous host, and when he feeds you, you know that you’re going to have an excellent meal, whether it’s an intimate dinner with friends or a tasting menu at a restaurant. He dedicates himself to creating a whole atmosphere with his food and will stop at no lengths to ensure that the person eating his food has a warm, comfortable, and delicious experience. Similarly, his commitment to his Aikido practice, an art he started twenty years ago and has been devoted to ever since, is serious and profound. Anyone who has trained with Aaron or has experienced his hospitality can see that he puts 100% into what he is doing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We want Aaron to be able to continue living a rich life. We want to share meals with him and train with him and enjoy his company as our friend. To this end, we are asking you today to donate what you can to ensure that his recovery process is as comfortable and smooth as possible. If you are able to donate, we are entirely grateful. If you aren't, please share this campaign as widely as you can. Any exposure is an enormous help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are asking for patience with Aaron’s limited ability to dedicate to communication during this time, as he will be preparing for surgery and has a lot on his plate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These are some of the things that the money will go toward:
</div>
<ul>
<li>Physical and mental health services
</li>
<li>Home improvements
</li>
<li>Insurance costs
</li>
<li>Alleviate expenses related to time away from work
</li>
<li>Donor accommodations and transportation expenses
</li>
<li>Anti-rejection medications post-surgery
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you!

<div>Hello Everyone!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Djuna’s Lullaby, our 10th studio recording, is well on its way and we are calling on our music Angels, our community, to help us bring this new CD to fruition. As many of you know, we’ve been threatening to make this recording for the last 13 years! After many false starts, stops, and finally a dead stop in 2022 –– when we lost our dear friend Mikail Graham, our accompanist, co-producer and personal studio wizard –– we are pleased to let you know that we’ve finally gotten back on the horse, so to speak, our basic tracks are now finished, and we are ready to move on to the next step.
</div>
<div>In order to do this, however, we need financial support. We are independent artists with no record company supporting us and have always been self-recorded and produced.
</div>
<div> Our goal here is $16,000. With it, we will be enlisting some of our favorite artists to bring added sparkle, magic and life to these songs – and for further studio time at Silver Maple Studio where we will mix and master the recording. It will also pay for graphic design for the disc and cover/insert art, and finally, for the creation of the final product.
</div>
<div>We thank you all for supporting us throughout these last 41 years, and for attending our live shows where the ritual of song is perhaps at its strongest. Preserving these songs on a permanent “canvas” is an equally important part of their voice, a physical version of their ephemeral nature, a songwriter’s way of painting.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We hope that you will consider helping us achieve this long overdue dream.
</div>
<div>With much gratitude, and huge, huge love
</div>

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(We will keep you updated here of this (our) gestational process as we move ahead – and will be looking forward to having Djuna’s Lullaby in our hands for its debut, when we will present it in concert, with special guests, at the historic Nevada Theater in Nevada City, CA on February 10, 2024!)

PAUL KAMM AND ELEANORE MACDONALD’S NEW ALBUM

The Denatale Family has lost almost everything they own in a terrible house fire. Through the years Mike and Miriam have donated countless volunteer hours to our community. I don't think I've ever been to a community event where I haven't seen them working to help others. Let's show Mike, Miriam, Matthew, and Sarah that now the community is here to give back to them. No donation is too small. The funds will help support the family during this difficult time, and replace items they lost in the fire. Thanks in advance for your support.<br /><br />I am a friend from the community, and Mike ran the Taconic Little League Program during the time my son was a player. The funds raised here will be deposited directly into the family's account.

<div>Hi Everyone!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>First off, Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there. I hope everyone has enjoyed their day and holiday weekend. I know I sure am glad I get to spend yet another Father's Day with my old man! To tell you the truth, when we first received all of his medical news, I wasn't sure I'd get another one with him but we have had a wonderful day and as he said the other day "everyday has been Father's Day since I've been here with you".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of you have reached out and asked he or I to start another GoFundMe page to continue your donations. His original one expired so this will be your new resource to donate to him if you wish.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I also wanted to hop on here and give you all an update on my dad and his current state. We have had quite the two months since we brought him out here. I am sure all of you know by now, that we barely made it. He and I had a very long travel day from CA to NC and after multiple delays and plane changes, we finally ended up in Raleigh about 2am. It was one of those days where nothing could go right and when I went to find the car that night, I couldn't find it. We ended up taking an Uber home, and got to my house at 3am. When he got out of the car, he couldn't walk. I had to have the Uber driver help me get him to the front porch until I could run in and wake Marvin up to help me get him to bed. VERY long story short, the next day while I was at work, he was having many passing out spells and Marvin called me and told me to get home immediately. We ALL know how stubborn my dad is, but I knew it was bad when I got home and asked him "what do you think about the hospital right about now?" He looked me in the eye and said "whatever you think is best, if you think we need to go, let's go".
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This trip to the hospital that lasted days taught us that he had lost most of his blood, he was at a fatal level but they didn't know the cause of it or why he wasn't retaining any of the transfusions he received. Fast forward, we were assigned AMAZING doctors in each specialty he needed, and they quickly began running tests and giving us treatment options. He is diagnosed Stage 4 Prostate Cancer that is metastatic along with acquired anemia which has basically created hemophilia which causes him to bleed very easily, even from the smallest cuts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The doctors have started him on a non-chemo specialty drug treatment for his cancer, and he just began a four week infusion (also non-chemo) treatment to help with the bleeding issue that landed us in the hospital 2 months ago. He also gets a large shot every 3 months for his cancer treatment that works directly with the main treatment he is on. He also goes through a procedure every 3-6 months to replace a kidney stent that is helping his weakened kidney function.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is all a very summarized update but I know it's been a while since you got a good update and I will keep you all updated as more/anything comes. Although he does have prostate cancer which can be very treatable, we have to keep in mind his age, and on top of that, he has a rare type that is only 2% of prostate cancers. To tell you the truth, we have no idea what the future looks like but for now, he is happy. He has good days and bad days, but we make the most of the good days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns and I am more than happy to give you more detail! We thank you all for everything you have done and for loving this old man so dearly.
</div>

<div>Hi Everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As many of you know, and maybe some don't, my dad has been dealing with some health issues. Many of you have reached out to me and asked how you can help and if I would set up a gofundme. We haven't had many answers until lately about his condition and anyone that knows him, knows he's tough and doesn't like to ask for help. So, this is big for him allowing me to ask for help on his behalf. We should hopefully have more answers in the coming weeks but for the time being, things don't look great. They have found multiple spots of cancer and this could mean anything. One thing we do know though, is his medical bills keep coming. Anything that you are willing to do, will help him and our family tremendously. I will keep everyone updated as we continue to find out more.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you in advance for all of your love and support.

<p><strong>Dutchess County Citizen Volunteers seek funding for legal expenses to stop the County from disbanding the Independent Reapportionment Commission!<br /><br />Background</strong>
</p>

<p>The Dutchess County Independent Reapportionment Commission was formed in January of 2021 with one purpose: to redraw the district lines in our county according to the decennial census to ensure that elections are not influenced to favor one party, candidate, or group over others. To this end, the Commission was created by referendum to be independent from the politicians and interests that govern Dutchess County. We, the members of the Commission, are ordinary people who live in the county and were chosen to serve on the Commission pursuant to a lengthy and fair selection process.
</p>

<p>After months of tireless work, the Commission was terminated on June 24, 2021, without warning or any legal basis via a short note from the county attorney (who until that moment had served as the Commission’s own attorney). The basis for this action was a single member's affiliation with his local school board (who resigned and was replaced). The announcement was abrupt, and the county attorney failed to give us an adequate explanation or present a law that gave him the authority to end our work. Within days the County Legislature had voted to alter the voting districts within the County and form a new Commission—and specifically barred all of us from serving on the new Commission. These actions are not authorized under law. Further, the legislature has ignored our request for resources to obtain legal counsel – resources that are available to use by law.
</p>

<p>From its formation by our County Legislature, the mission of our *Independent* Commission was to operate outside of politics and partisanship. We came together, not as Republicans and Democrats, but as members of our community committed to preserving the voting rights of our fellow Dutchess County residents. Our Commission embodies everything fair and just in the political process, all of which now hangs in the balance.
</p>

<p><strong>Goal</strong>
</p>

<p>We're not giving up on our mission. We're not giving up on our county. The law does not allow a do-over. The County Attorney does not get to destroy a nonpartisan commission.
</p>

<p>We have secured legal counsel and will be filing suit against the County to stop their unlawful power grab and protect voting rights in Dutchess County.
</p>

<p>Was the alleged disbandment of our nonpartisan, independent commission a legal action? Or was it a partisan attempt at control by the County leadership? Why wasn't this handled impartially through the courts?
</p>

<p>By helping with our fundraising campaign, you will help to answer that very question.
</p>

<p>We are asking for donations to help us cover the legal expenses to challenge the actions of the County Attorney in court. Join us in our fight. Help us preserve the Independent Reapportionment Commission.<br /><br />Thank you for your support!<br /><br />Signed, <br /><br />Bryan Faubus<br />Hance Huston<br />Whitney Lundy <br />John Pelosi <br />Christie VanHorne<br /><br /><br />
