<div>It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Annette Shelton on December 10, 2024. Annette, who was living in South Carolina at the time, was in the midst of starting a new chapter in her life, beginning a new job, and did not yet have access to benefits to cover the expenses of her funeral and memorial service.

Thomas Smith is an orthopedics tech at Kaiser Permanente whose 12-year-old daughter Audrey Smith has been battling B Cell Leukemia for the last couple of years. Recently, she underwent a bone marrow transplant that reaped promising results. Sadly, cancer has reared its ugly head again. After exhausting efforts and enormous courage shown by this very strong little lady, doctors have advised immediate steps to fulfill her wishes. Audrey's wishes were to go to Disney World and have a great time one day. Due to the urgency, in this case, the Smiths want nothing more than to make this dream a reality. Together, we can help them fulfill this wish. One important note: The battle is not over as the family has opted to participate in a medical trial treatment starting April 11th. <div>This is a rare and aggressive cancer developing in skeletal muscles. Scans determined it has spread in the abdomen, right leg, and lymph nodes.

<div>Liliana had a port placed on her chest September 22nd and began to receive weekly chemotherapy in attempt to reduce the size of the tumors. She will also be having radiation. Currently, the tumors are too large to safely surgically remove.

<div>Liliana turned 2 in June and started nursery school in September. She has the biggest personality—smart, funny, sweet, sassy, and independent. She has been a rockstar so far, but Liliana has a long journey ahead.

<div>Her parents, Rosie and Justin, will be missing work to help her through the process, so any financial assistance would be appreciated. For convenience for their family, Rosie’s mom will be receiving the payments, but all money will be allocated towards care for Liliana.
