I’m Indigenous, Disabled, a 35 yr Youth Worker choosing to take a stance, for #Cultural Safety and Bullying- As such, I’ve been out of work, since September, but I’m 10 months #PostStrokeRecovery, with my eldest son, just had his 27th birthday…. A few weeks ago, and I had nothing but my surviving my 3 Strokes, being alive. y last stroke was Nov15, 2024 and I’ve been attempting to live within the lower mainland of Vancouver… I’ve initially had support- However, I’m supporting myself + My caregiver son - Solo caring for myself. I’ve no family, and very few friends who help hold me up. This past stroke, my journey has been on my solo-recovery, only.
