<div>The situation I've been fighting for 3 years now and have hit brick wall after brick wall. I cannot let go nor can I adjust or move on due to the trauma involved, previously being a victim of domestic violence, the absurd amount of injustice, and the fact that this situation has affected and is still negatively impacting the only thing I care about and the person I love more than anything, my son.

<div>My son is Phinneaus, and he just turned 10 on September 5th. He came into this world on my birthday in 2015, strong and endearing, the happiest child there ever was. He smiled within 5 minutes of being born. ODHS Child Welfare saw an opportunity and targeted me literally for being a single parent, along with a family where there was an evil, jealous woman who lied to tear my family apart just to get revenge for me being nice to her. They took my son from my parents' home in Fox Hills, where he was watching TV with Grandpa, playing with his cars, perfectly safe.

<div>I was denied counsel and for years have studied the laws in an attempt to spare my family long-term negative consequences but have not prevailed. I've put everything I am into advocating for myself and my family but fell flat on my face. I won't give up. I've picked myself up and am stronger for round two. <strong>I just want justice to be served and my child returned home.</strong> The court is not set up to listen to the parents. I was barely allowed to participate since I was not informed of the evidentiary rule book. I have tried every avenue: the college, pro bono, legal aid, St. Andrews, Oregon State Bar, everything.

<div>I am low income. I've only been told they don't take on family law cases involving the state. I was promised an attorney from Mark Gamba's representative only for them to fall short and not follow through. The point I'm at in the case, <strong>I desperately need an attorney since my last four motions have been accepted but ignored. They refuse to set a hearing on my motions to modify so I may have visitations with my son. The durable guardianship has not let me see or talk to my child since the guardianship was finalized.</strong> This is tearing my son apart, I just know it. I need a volunteer attorney or enough money to pay the retainer. I have a chance at saving my son's future and healing from this situation, but I'm gonna need that attorney. Thank you.

<div>Update* they have set a hearing. I'm not sure if this was due to my efforts on reaching out to the trial court administrator or if it was just time for the judicial review but either there is now a hearing set for judicial review/ mothers request for modification. I really wish I had a attorney. I'm wondering if this is when I should file for a vacate guardianship or keep it at the request for modification to request visitation so there can be time for adjustments. I know my son would likely thrive more in my home and heal completely if he were home so Im stuck needing that attorney.
