Help Pete "Cid" Sinclair through Treatment

I have started this campaign for my mom. Tonight my mom, stepfather, and siblings lost everything due to their home catching on fire. The cause is still under investigation,  but we are pretty sure it was the wood stove. They have nothing but the clothes on their back. My brothers are13&12, and my sister is 7. They are devastated, broken, and as  children,  are having a hard time understanding why. Please help my family start over. They are starting over from nothing.  I know it's close to the holidays but anything helps. The fire will be on our local news as well. Please show these amazing kids that there are people out there that care, and keep their holiday spirit alive. Thank you in advance.

<div>This all began with something simple. A checkup. We thought Loki had a ranula — a harmless fluid cyst under the tongue. It cleared on its own. But they did some bloodwork and found Lyme disease. We started doxycycline right away.

<div>Three days later, Loki developed a violent cough — likely picked up at the vet. I started the meds and within three days, the cough was gone.

<div>This leads the doctors to believe it’s idiopathic pericardial effusion — which means his heart sac fills with fluid for no identifiable reason.

<div>The only solution is a thoracoscopic pericardial window — a surgical cut in the sac around his heart that would let the fluid harmlessly drain into his chest, where it would be reabsorbed by his body.
