<div>Hello, my name is Emily. Never in a million years did I think I would be facing cancer only 6 days after my daughter Gia was born. But here I am. I went from delivering a healthy baby girl on November 9 to doctors being concerned about a lump in my breast. To being diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer on November 15. I am facing chemo, mastectomies and a mountain of medical costs. This on top of unpaid leave because I had only been at my job 5 months before I had my daughter. Anything you can do to help our family (which includes my six year old son Leon and husband Kory) would be so immensely appreciated. On April 16, 2024, someone broke into my sister's home and sexually assaulted my 17-year-old niece. My sister tried to stop him, but he stabbed them both as he tried to escape. My niece died at the scene due to her injuries. My sister is currently in the hospital, she's in critical condition and we don't know if she'll survive. Her injuries are so severe that even if she makes it, her life will never be the same. Thank you for your support!

They are taking time off work, will need to travel back-and-forth from Orange County, CA to Mexico City, Mexico, pay for hotels + transportation, funeral costs, medical bills, and legal fees. Although my brother and sister-in-law are already doing everything they can, they need help from the community to continue to put their lives on hold as they navigate this tragedy. Additionally, the attacker is in jail claiming that he is innocent even though he was caught red-handed (literally) and with the murder weapon. So my brother and sister-in-law will need to travel to and remain in Mexico for an extended period of time to ensure that the attacker is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

<p>My name is Amanda, I am a 36 year old wife and mother from Tampa, FL.  I recently found out that I have stage 3 cervical cancer that may have spread to my pelvic lymph nodes and I need to start radiation treatment and chemotherapy right away. The doctors have advised me that I should have a surgery before radiation for a few reasons 1. To see how far the cancer has spread and if it is in my pelvic lymph nodes 2. To move my ovaries and help me from going into early menopause, the radiation with kill them if not. 3. My PET Scan showed something near my bladder and the surgeon will be able to see what is happening and if there is anything to worry about. I desperately need to start treatment but unfortunately due to job changes and COVID shut downs over the last year I am currently not insured and have recently had to quick working because of the pain waves, fatigue, and nausea. I have applied for Medicaid and for financial help through the hospital foundation, however I am waiting to hear if I got approved.
</p>

<p>It is life changing to find out you have cancer and very hard. I am personally having a tough time not crying every minute andI trying hard to remain positive. It is hard to stay positive when you know cancer is growing inside of you and you can’t afford proper treatment. 
</p>

Help Amanda fight stage 3 cervical cancer

<div>Michael “Coach” Tracey was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in June and it came to a shock to all of us. He was just recently engaged to his fiancé, Taieka Coutard and they just bought a house last November in Whitman, MA. Coach Mike grew up in the Hyde Park and Randolph Massachusetts area and is well known in the communities. Coach Mike has been coaching in pop warner football for the Hyde Park Cowboys for over 22 years and if you include his playing years we are at 30 years. Coach Mike is also a ParaEducator for the last 6 years for BPS and was a pre-school teacher in Hyde Park for Little Voices for 6 years as well. He has served the community of Hyde Park/Boston for almost his entire life. He has built countless relationships with his students, players, and parents, past and present, and now he’s asking for your help.
