What they care about

Climbing for Abigail – Raising Awareness for SUDEP Hi, I’m Lou. I’m fundraising for SUDEP Action (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) in memory of my beautiful friend Abigail, who passed away two years ago. She was one of the sweetest, funniest, and most talented people I’ve ever known, truly a joy to be around and someone who made every day brighter. Before losing Abigail, I had no idea what SUDEP was  and I know many others haven’t heard of it either. That’s why I want to raise both awareness and funds to help prevent more families from going through the heartbreak of losing a loved one so suddenly.  To do this, I’ll be taking on a huge challenge: ‍ Climbing the height of Ben Nevis (1,345m)  the tallest mountain in the UK on an indoor climbing wall! That’s 112 climbs in total, split between me and my partner (56 each). In one day! Over the next few weeks, I’ll be training hard and building my endurance to take on the full challenge in one day. The challenge will take place on the 30th of November!  My goal is to raise £500 for SUDEP Action  money that will go towards supporting families, funding vital research, and spreading awareness about this devastating condition. Please follow my journey, cheer me on, and help me reach my goal. Together, we can make a difference spreading awareness, supporting families, and helping to prevent more sudden deaths from epilepsy. This is for you Abigail Always loved,Never forgotten.
