What they care about

I believe in doing right by people and leaning into one another. We all we got.

I grew up in the Glenville neighborhood where I learned early on that nothing is handed to you. When life forced me to leave college early, I returned home and found a job at a local grocery store. What started as a way to get by became my life’s work. For the last 22 years, I’ve mastered the grocery trade from the ground up—from stocking shelves to managing operations. I’ve put in the sweat equity; now, I’m ready to move from employee to owner. I am raising funds to acquire my own store right here in the state that raised me. This isn't just a business—it’s a chance to create something generational. Your support will help cover down payment/inventory/licensing for the store. I’ve learned the trade; now I’m asking for your help to build the legacy. The promise I made to my father before he passed away is right in front of me. I will not let him down.
