What Savannah cares about

A former rough sleeper trying to use my blessings to pay it forward. I am based in Seattle and try to fund within my community. I love chihuahuas.

Ripley was found in a truck with four other dogs. I adopted two of them from Seattle Animal Shelter. Ripley has an auto-immune disorder and anemia which was not immediately present before the adoption. I am raising additional funds for her care.

Ripley’s adoption was finalized on September 4, 2025 from Seattle Animal Shelter and her spay and mammory mass removal happened the same day. Unfortunately, Ripley was slow to wake and had pale gums by the end of the surgery and was transferred to Timberline ER where she was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia and anemia. This auto-immune disorder can be secondary to cancer so I want to get the mass tested first at a cost of $280. currently Ripley is healing from the spay and is responding to steroid treatments after being discharged from the ER last Monday. She has been recovering at home but needs another bloodwork panel done in two weeks at $287.94 and then routinely after that to monitor her response to medications. I am fundraising for three months of treatments and interventions. To see how she does. Worst cases sometimes needs six months to respond however Ripley has not needed any blood transfusions so far which is positive. Ripley will be receiving care at Urban Animal Capitol Hill.
