<div>Ryan Conklin was a smart, determined, funny, and loving young man. He was deeply loved by those who knew him. It was rare to see Ryan without a smile, and he was always ready to help those he cared about. Ryan was a recent graduate of Ellenville High School's Class of 2026 and had plans of joining the U.S. Air Force to serve our country. He loved participating in sports and going to the gym, and enjoying life to the fullest with friends and family. He also was a believer in Jesus Christ.

<div>On July 2, 2026, Ryan was taken from us in an accident. While the whole community he was part of is heartbroken and mourning, the loss of a child and a sibling is unimaginable. Ryan was so close to our children that he became part of the family. We decided to help take part of the burden off of his parents by starting this GoFundMe for them. <div>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jorge Jurado. Jorge was a husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many whom he’s touched. Jorge was a man defined by his dedication to his family and an incredible work ethic. Before retirement, he worked everyday tirelessly to ensure his loved ones could move forward, putting their well being above his own. His heart was as big as his spirit— though sensitive, it was full of warmth and compassion. Anyone who met Jorge was welcomed with open arms, instantly made to feel like family. Jorge had a remarkable gift for storytelling, weaving tales from his beautiful life experiences, often sprinkled with jokes to bring a smile or laughter to those around him. He touched countless lives, leaving behind memories filled with joy, love, his light, and a sense of belonging. His kindness to everyone he encountered left an indelible mark in our lives. Jorge’s presence will be dearly missed, but the love and laughter he shared with us will live on in our hearts forever.

Help Jorge’s Family Through Tough Times

<p>On Monday night, December 16th, 2019,  Diego Trejo, 22, was on his way home with his loyal companion, Lily.  Diego and Lily never made it home.  As they were heading west on route 172, not far from the Fox Lane Campus, another car coming from the opposite direction swerved into Diego’s lane, and with a blink of an eye, Diego’s and Lily’s life was taken away.<br /><br />Diego is a very loved young man. He comes from a very big humble family, who are now torn to pieces.  He was the oldest brother to his two sweet sisters, Stephanie, and Sophia.  Diego was Maria’s oldest and only son.  The only grandson to Fernando and Yolanda Martínez, and a nephew to Jonathan and Will Martinez.  He adored his dog, Lily, who was also with him in the car that night.<br /><br />When ever you saw Diego, he always said hello with a big smile.  He was a gentle souland loved to have a good time, and was just starting to live his life.  He was truly free spirited and full of happiness.

<p>The Martinez family is so loved and respected by so many in the community that we have decided to make a gofundme to help them with the funeral expenses.  Any amount will be highly appreciated.

Funeral expenses for Diego

As many of you are aware, Mr. Poplardo , a veteran teacher at Fox Lane High School who has been rated a "Highly Effective" teacher, advisor and coach for the better part of 30 years was recently suspended for showing a cable news video to his senior class.  The lesson was intended to prepare them for some of the pitfalls they might face in college.  The district administration viewed the video as controversial and suspended him without pay for one month.  Both current and former students, however, were thankful for what they call, "Mr. Pop's  Stay Safe" lesson.   I'm starting this GoFundMe so we can rally together to help him pay for some of his family expenses and healthcare costs during this difficult period.  Anything is appreciated.  Thank you!
