I normally don’t ask for help like this, but I’m working toward something important. Ok I’m currently working to complete my Armed Security Guard training and licensing so I can begin a new career and provide a more stable future for my family. After dedicating 10 years to Best Buy, where I worked my way up to Project Supervisor, I was recently laid off. Like many families, this sudden change has been difficult, especially as a single father already managing a tight budget. Rather than letting this setback stop me, I’ve decided to move forward and pursue a career in the security field, where I can use my leadership, discipline, and experience to build something long-term. Completing my armed security training and licensing will open the door to better job opportunities and help me get back on my feet. The total cost for training, certification, licensing, and background checks is $3,000, and I’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover the expenses.
