I'm reaching out because I'm facing a really tough time right now. My fiancé was unexpectedly jailed, and he was the one paying our bills. On top of that, I've been struggling with depression and other mental health challenges, which has made it hard for me to work. Now, my rent and utility bills are due, and my dog needs urgent veterinary care that I can't afford to delay. I recently got a job at FedEx, but I'm still waiting for my background check to clear before I can start working and earning a paycheck. My car isn't licensed or tagged yet, which makes it even harder to get around, and I can't access my tax return until I verify my identity—a process that's been delayed because of mail issues after moving. All of these things have piled up at once, and it's been really overwhelming. The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover my rent and utility bills first, so I can have some stability and peace of mind. With those urgent needs met, I can focus on finding free resources to help with my dog's veterinary care and work toward getting back on my feet. I feel embarrassed to ask for help, but I truly need support right now. Any help, no matter how small, would mean so much as I work to get through this difficult time.
