<div>I am reaching out in a time of profound loss and uncertainty. My partner and I, both healthcare workers and artists, are devastated after losing our home in the Altadena wildfires. What makes this even more challenging is that we are new parents to a beautiful 3-month-old baby who has already witnessed so many struggles in her short life.
</div>
<div>My pregnancy was extremely complicated, and I nearly lost my life three times during delivery. As a result I haven't been able to work in almost a year. I’m now focused on healing and caring for my child, but the wildfires have taken away what little we had left. Our home, our belongings, and most heartbreakingly, our art supplies and creations that we poured our hearts into—everything is gone.

<div>Both my partner and I are occupational therapy assistants, specializing in helping children. But we are also passionate artists, and creating has always been our outlet, our refuge, and our way of contributing to the world. Losing our art and supplies has left a huge void in our lives, both emotionally and financially.
</div>
<div>We are humbly asking for your support during this incredibly challenging time. The funds raised will hopefully help us find the stability and security needed to get back to doing what we love—both healing others through our work in healthcare and healing ourselves through our art.

<div>Charlie and Christina had been renting in Altadena for just about 3 months (since October 2024). They were enamored with the space, which they poured love into and shared with their dog Dice and newly adopted kitten Filomena, who are both thankfully safe with them.

<div><strong>They evacuated their home urgently on the night of 01/07/25 with the bare minimum.</strong> They lost <em>everything they owned and cherished,</em> including cameras, musical instruments, bicycles, camping gear, tools, all their clothing &amp; home furnishings, and their beloved camper van. Not to mention everything that comes with making a home.

<div>The couple had planned to use the home as their creative sanctuary, hoping to build their dream careers in 2025. The space was small but beautiful, and now they need help getting on their feet as they search for what’s next.

Seeking help to raise money for medical expenses for a beloved coworker, friend, and father, <strong>Luis Castro </strong>due to an unexpected medical diagnosis. Luis is a well known security guard for Toluca Lake Collective. We never expect for our lives to take a turn, but life does not wait and goes on. As Luis pursues treatment it will be hard to cover rent, food, treatment, and basic needs. We are asking for donations to take this stress off of our dear friend so he can focus on getting better. <div>Hi, this is Uncle John. He is father to Burton (older brother of Joy, Jake, and Jayson Manning). Uncle John was in an assisted living facility in Lahaina when the Maui fires hit. He only survived because while he sat watching the ocean in his final minutes of breath, a speeding car saw him and rescued him. He lost everything, including many of his friends and his home. He was found in a shelter covered in ash. Please consider helping him raise money for a safe place to stay. Right now he has nothing. This will go towards housing, rent, clothes, belongings, or whatever else he needs to start a new life.

Overnight, the beautiful town of Lahaina was destroyed, and with it, our flagship CocoNene store on Front Street. Although we are shocked and saddened by the loss of our store, which carried so many great memories, our number one priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members in Lahaina through this trying time.

<font color="#333333"><span>On Saturday, September 10th, my family was rocked by a terrible tragedy. My younger brother Julian, was killed in an act of gun violence by vicious gang members. He had just turned 17. This tragedy has shaken my family, and has left us scrambling to come up with expenses for something that we could have never prepared for. My family is struggling financially, and we would like to give my brother the proper send off that he deserves. It would mean a lot to my family if our family, friends, or anyone who knew Julian could help donate so that we are able to pay these unforeseen costs. Any little bit helps. She can no longer has any control of herself and is in a state called locked in syndrome, the family is need help for after care medical expenses! Now she is 9. she’s had her share of health problems, but she’s a good girl and I’ll never give up, as long as she’s not ready.  In her years, she’s been diagnosed with being allergic to almost everything, including her own hair. She has a special diet and is on 2 types of medicine daily. a couple years ago she was diagnosed with a vigorous case of pyrometra and had her entire reproductive tract taken out. 2 month ago, she was diagnosed with vestibular disease, along with another neuro disease I’m less educated about.

<p>long story short, this girl needs help. Her vet bills are $300 minimum every visit. Please help so we don’t both end up homeless. Anything is appreciated, thank you for listening.
